Day 1: Arrive Stockholm
Arrive Stockholm Airport. Transfer to hotel in connection with your flight arrival. Dinner and accommodations at Scandic Hotel Continental, a first class hotel ideally located in the city center. Your tour escort will meet you at the hotel.

Day 2: Stockholm
After your first Scandinavian buffet breakfast, start a 4-hour guided tour of Stockholm. Famous sights on the tour include the Royals Palace, the Parliament Buildings, the island of Djurgården and the Old Town (Gamla Stan), with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antique shops. Highlights of the tour is a visit to City Hall with its famous Blue and Golden Halls, where the Nobel Prize Banquet is held each years. Afternoon free in Stockholm. Your tour escort will be happy to arrange optional visits to the impressive Drottningholm Palace or other famous sights.

Day 3: Stockholm - Helsinki
Morning free in Stockholm for exploring this beautiful city, often called the Venice of the North because of its many canals and waterways. Afternoon coach transfer for embarkation on a luxurious cruise ferry on the Silja Line. Begin your cruise to Helsinki at 6 p.m., sailing slowly down the Stockholm archipelago past numerous small islands. Scandinavian buffet dinner (smorgasbord) on board. Choice of entertainment, shops, casino and bars on board. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins (seaside) with shower/WC.

Day 4: Helsinki - Stockholm
Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you sail into Helsinki. Enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of the Finnish capital this morning. Famous sights include the Senate Square, Uspenskij Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, New Opera House, Sibelius Parks & Monument, Underground Temple, etc. Afternoon free for shopping or exploring this bustling city on the Baltic. Depart on your Silja Line cruise back to Stockholm at 5 p.m. Choice of entertainment, shops, casino and bars on board. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins (seaside) with shower/WC.

Day 5: Stockholm - Copenhagen
After a delicious buffet breakfast on board, arrive back in Stockholm at 9 a.m. The tour continues by coach through the pleasant countryside of Southern Sweden to the city of Jönköping, beautifully situated at the southern end of Lake Vättern. Lunch at Mäster Gudmunds Restaurant. After lunch, continue through the province of Hallandia to the city of Helsingborg. The 20-minute ferry ride to Denmark offers an excellent view of Hamlet's Castle - Kronborg Castle. Arrive in wonderful Copenhagen during the early evening. Dinner and accommodation at the Palace Hotel, excellently located on the Town Hall Square right in the city center.

Day 6: Copenhagen
The day begins with a 3-hour guided tour of this fairytale city. Sights include the Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace, Hans Christian Andersenés statue, the Gefion Fountain, the old harbor of Nyhavn and the Little Mermaid. Afternoon free to explore this exciting city. We can recommend a tour down the popular pedestrian shopping street, Strøget, or maybe a canal tour. This evening your tour escort will take you for dinner in the famous Tivoli Gardens. Overnight at Palace Hotel.

Day 7: Copenhagen - Oslo
After a tasty Danish buffet breakfast, the morning is free in Copenhagen for shopping and sightseeing. The Carlsberg Glyptothek, Planetarium, Louis Tussaud's Wax museum, are all within walking distance of your hotel. Afternoon transfer by coach to DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise to Oslo, departing at 5 p.m. Enjoy a delicious Scandinavian buffet dinner as you cruise gently up the Kattegat on your way to Oslo. There is dancing and entertainment on board, or you may prefer to sit out on deck and watch the sunset. Accommodation is in 2-berth inside cabins with shower/WC.

Day 8: Oslo
Scandinavian buffet breakfast is being served on board, as you sail up the exciting Oslo Fjord to reach the Norwegian capital at 9 a.m. After disembarkation, this morning's 3-hour guided tour of Oslo takes you to see the world-famous Viking Ship, the Polar Exploration ship Fram, the amazing Vigeland Sculpture Park and other famous sights. During the afternoon you will be taken by coach to Holmenkollen Ski Jump for a birds eye view of the city and fjord far below. Dinner and accommodation at Rica Victoria Hotel, located right in the city center close to the Karl Johan shopping boulevard and the popular Aker Brygge Harbor.

Day 9: Oslo Departure or Start of the Fjords of Norway Extension
Guests on the Four Capitals Tour transfer to Oslo Airport to coincide with individual flight departures. Guests taking the Fjords of Norway extension have the day free in Oslo, with dinner and accommodation at Rica Victoria Hotel.
