AERO ISLAND PACKAGE

Day 1

 COPENHAGEN – ODENSE – MARSTAL (AERO)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Copenhagen westward through farming countryside and small villages, some of which were founded by Vikings more than a thousand years ago.Continue to Halskov from where you will drive over one of the world’s largest suspension bridges constructed off-shore and arrive on the island of Funen. Continue to Odense, Denmark’s third largest city and Hans Christian Andersen’s home town. From Odense, drive to Svendborg. At 16:30: Ferry from Svendborg to Ærøskøbing.  Arrival  Ærøskøbing at 17:45 and drive 15 kms. to Marstal – the old fishing village which is now the largest city on the island.  

Day 2AERO

Breakfast at the hotel and day free to enjoy the island. We can recommend bike rental, a visit to the various interesting museums, many of them centered around the maritime past of the island, or simply the idyllic charm of a small community still full of life.

Day 3 AERO - COPENHAGEN

Breakfast at the hotel and at 08:55 ferry back from Ærøskøbing to Svendborg. From Svendborg to Knudshoved to take the bridge back to Sealand and Copenhagen, drop car downtown Copenhagen overnight

Day 4 Copenhagen

Breakfast at the hotel. End of program
