Bergen – Balestrand – Geiranger – Alesund – Molde

Day 1 Bergen
Arrive in Bergen. Spend the afternoon exploring the city. Overnight in Bergen.

Day 2 Bergen – Balestrand
Pick up your car, drive north from Bergen and take a ferry from Oppedal, across the Sognefjord, to Lavik. Continue east to Balestrand. Dinner and overnight in Balestrand.

Day 3 Balestrand - Geiranger
Drive north over the spectacular Gaular mountains to Skei. Continue past Olden and Loen to Stryn, driving up the beautiful Stryn Mountains to Grotli, before descending to Geiranger. Be sure to include a stop at Dalsnibba for a great view of the Geirangerfjord below. Dinner and overnight in Geiranger.

Day 4 Geiranger – Alesund
Travel by ferry on the famous Geiranger Fjord to Hellesylt, and drive north to Stranda and Sykkylven. Continue to the charming art nouveau city of Ãlesund. Overnight in Ãlesund.

Day 5 Ãlesund – Molde
Drive east to Ãndalsnes. If you have time, drive a few miles up the Romsdal Valley towards Bjorli, to see the magnificent Romsdals Horn and Trollveggen mountain peaks. Stop at Bjorli hotel for lunch before returning to Ãndalsnes. Continue on to Molde for overnight.

Day 6 Molde
Itinerary ends after dropping off the car in Molde.
