In the morning, the group goes on a 3-hour city tour of Copenhagen, which includes the prominent landmarks: the Royal theatre, the City Hall, the Christiansborg Palace, the Royal Palace Amalienborg, the old harbor of Nyhavn, the Little Mermaid, the Gefion fountain and the Rosenborg castle (no entrances included). In the afternoon, explore Copenhagen on your own.

The first part of the day is free to explore on your own. You can take a guided boat tour on the canal, or simply for a walk or shopping.
In the afternoon, we will transfer by coach to the DFDS terminal. We will spend overnight on board the DFDS ferry cruising to Oslo. Departure is at 14:15. Enjoy the Baltic sea views and entertainment on board as you cruise from Copenhagen to Oslo.
Dinner and accommodation are in 2-berth outside cabins with shower/WC.
We recommend bringing an overnight bag for this cruise to avoid having to carry suitcases to and from the cabin.
Enjoy a Scandinavian buffet breakfast on board, as you approach Norway's capital on the Oslo Fjord. Disembark in Oslo at 9:15 am. 3-hour city sightseeing tour of Oslo with a local guide offers panoramic views of the Old town Christiania, the Opera house, Akershus Castle and Fortress, and the Royal Palace. Scenic ride through some of Oslo's prettiest neighborhoods to the Vigeland Park (entrance complimentary) with its over 200 sculptures. Visit the Fram Museum during the city tour.

In the morning, we depart from Oslo to dive through the scenic Halling Valley to the town of Geilo, where we stop for lunch.
After lunch, we cross the impressive Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli. We stop to view the thundering Vøringsfoss Waterfall, proceed to the picturesque Måbødal Canyon and idyllic Hardanger Fjord. From here, we cross the Hardanger Bridge and follow along the Ulvik Fjord, a branch of the Hardanger Fjord, to reach the small of Ulvik.

Today we explore the scenic Hardanger Fjord with its many fruit orchards, arriving in Bergen around midday.
In the afternoon, a 2-hour city tour in Bergen with a local guide, including a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled packhouses, and the old Hanseatic Quarter.

In the morning, we drive to Voss to board the train for a spectacular ride on Flam Railway, one of the world's most beautiful and steepest railway lines.
We continue to board a ship for a fjord cruise on the narrow and spectacular Nærøyfjord from Flåm to Gudvangen. This area is considered one of the most beautiful fjord landscapes globally and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Continue by coach through the Stalheim Canyon to Vangsnes, short ferry crossing to the beautiful resort of Balestrand.

Today is a free day in Balestrand to enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the fjords. You may spend the morning relaxing and reading on the hotel terrace, enjoying the fresh mountain air and spectacular views around. You can also walk in town and visit a local aquarium and art gallery., or rent a rowing boat or a bike from the hotel, or even go on foot up to the nearest mountains.

In the morning, we take a ferry from Dragsvik to Hella and a scenic tour along the Sogn Fjord and further north to Fjærland. Descend to the beautiful Nord Fjord, making a detour at Olden for an excursion in “Troll cars” to the Briksdal glacier.
Afterward, enjoy a typical Norwegian lunch. Continue by coach via Loen and Stryn, to Hellesylt, for a beautiful cruise on the Geirangerfjord.

In the morning, we drive the road that twists and turns ascending the Geiranger Skywalk for spectacular panoramic views of the Geirangerfjord (weather permitting). We continue across the wild Grotli Mountains to Lom, well known for its 14th-century stave church, and descend down the Gudbrands Valley to the town of Lillehammer. Drive alongside Lake Mjøsa and arrive in Oslo, the capital.

After breakfast, we continue by coach towards the Swedish border, passing the province of Värmland to reach the city of Karlstad on Lake Vänern. Lunch in Karlstad.
After lunch, drive through a landscape of forests and sparkling lakes to reach the Swedish capital in the late afternoon.
