The magnificent historical center is a great example of 19th century architecture. The Senate Square offers a view of the impressive Helsinki Cathedral, which towers above the square and the main building of the Helsinki University, the National Library and the Government Palace. In the middle of the square is a statue of the tsar Alexander II.
On the way we pass by the impressive, Russian Orthodox Uspenski Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, which also served as the Imperial Palace during Tsarist times, the Ateneum Art Museum, part of Finnish National Gallery, and the Kiasma contemporary art museum.
A pre-ferry pause will be made at the bustling Market Square, where you can get a glimpse of the busy happenings at the unique Old Market Hall and will have the chance to do some shopping. The tour winds up with a visit to the Temppeliaukio “Rock“Church, a truly unique structure built right into the rock. We’ll also make a short pause to see the monument to the famous Finnish composer Sibelius.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will take a ferry to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Upon arrival you will be picked up from the port and explore Tallinn with the help of our experienced local guides.
We will start with a panoramic drive to the lovely Kadriorg Park & Palace famously built by the Russian Czar Peter the Great. Leaving the Kadriorg area with its colorful wooden houses behind, we will pay a visit to the most significant symbols of the Estonian nation - the Song Festival Grounds.
