Itinerary:

Day 1  : Monday - Morning departure from Helsinki, stop in Tallinn, overnight to Stockholm

Leave Helsinki at 8:30am and arrive in Tallinn at 12:30. Your guide will meet you at the ferry terminal and take you on a 3-hour walking city tour of Old Tallinn (optional). You need to be back at the ferry at 16:30 (4:30pm). The ferry leaves to Stockholm at 18:30 (6:30pm). Overnight and dinner onboard. (D)

Day 2  : Tuesday - Stockholm, overnight ferry to Helsinki

Breakfast onboard. Arrival in Stockholm at 9:30am. Stopover in Stockholm from 9:30am to 17:30 (5:30pm). Please note that you need to be back at the ferry terminal 2 hours prior to departure for Helsinki. Overnight and dinner onboard. (B, D)

Optional: Private walking tour of Stockholm with entrances to Vasa Museum and the Royal Palace. The tour ends in the heart of the old town, where you can choose to have lunch or continue exploring on your own. Your private tour guide will provide you with directions on the easiest way to return back to the ferry terminal.

 

Day 3  : Wednesday - Helsinki, overnight ferry to St. Petersburg

The ferry arrives in Helsinki after breakfast, at 11:30am and leaves to St. Petersburg at 19:00 (7:00pm). You need to be back at the terminal at 17:30 (5:30pm). Explore the capital of Finland on you own or with a private tour guide. Overnight and dinner onboard B, D)

Optional: 5-hour private tour of Helsinki and Porvoo.

Day 4  : Thursday - all day in St. Petersburg, overnight at the hotel

Breakfast onboard. The ferry arrive to St. Petersburg at 9:00am. Today we will offer a private visa-free sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg. The guide will meet you at the sea terminal upon arrival. Start your tour with a driving overview of this amazing city often referred to as Venice of the North. You will see the historical part of the city, Nevsky Prospect, Palace Square, Rosstral Columns, the Winter Palace, Bronze Horseman, Strelka, stop on St. Isaac's Square, Peter-And-Paul Fortress, Spilled Blood Church and other famous landmarks historical and architectural landmarks.  In the afternoon you will visit the most spectacular Catherine Palace located in the town of Puhkin (formerly known as Tsarskoe Selo), 25-30km outside St. Petersburg.  Pushkin's palaces and parks were created under Empresses Elizabeth and Catherine the Great between 1744 and 1796. The main landmark is the Catherine Palace designed by Rastrelli. Amber Room is part of Catherine Palace exhibition. Pushkin's original name is Tsarskoye Selo (Tsar's Village). It was renamed in 1937 after Russia's famous poet who used to study here. After the tours the guide will drop you off at the hotel around 18:00 (6pm). Free evening or optional performances. Overnight at the hotel. (B)

Day 5  : Friday - all day in St. Petersburg, evening ferry to Helsinki

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby and continue your private sightseeing with a private tour of the Hermitage museum where you will explore the treasures of one of the richest world art collections of European masters (Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Michelangelo, Rubens, Titian, Rembrandt etc.). You will also take a special tour of The Winter Palace and view royal living rooms and gala halls. 

In the afternoon visit Peterhof located on the southern shores of the Finnish Gulf, 14 miles away from St. Petersburg. The Grand Palace with its lavish interiors, gilded decorations, mirrors and paintings dominates the estate. The Park outside the Grand Palace is a kingdom of 144 unique fountains, all operating without the use of pumps by a combination of naturally generated water pressure and magic. Walking in the parking you will be amazed by the splendid beauty created by a man.  Your tour will end at the ferry terminal.

The ferry leaves St. Petersburg at 19:00 (7:00pm). Enjoy dinner and overnight onboard. (B, D)

Day 6  : Saturday - morning arrival to Helsinki

Arrival in Helsinki in the morning at 8:00am. Disembark after breakfast. (B)
