What is the best time to go to Iceland?
Iceland has a lot to offer all year round. The best weather in Iceland is from May to August but as it is high season expect more crowds. April and September have still decent weather but smaller crowds. Fall and winter months with darker and longer nights tend to bring the highest odds for viewing the Northern Lights.

Which part of Iceland offers more attractions - north or south?
It depends on what activities and landscapes interest you the most. There is plenty to see all over Iceland. In the South one can visit black beaches, glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls. In the north you can explore around Lake Myvatn, go on whale watching tours, explore volcanic area…the list goes on.
Do I need to get a visa?
No visa is currently required for passport holders in the EU, U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and many other countries.
