Day 3  : SVOLVÆR - LOFOTEN ISLANDS - HARSTAD

Panoramic tour of Lofoten Islands

Discover Norway’s untamed islands, which are draped across the turbulent waters of the Norwegian Sea, 300 km above the Arctic Circle. The islands are famous for the fishing, nature attractions such as midnight sun and northern lights, small villages off the beaten track and incredible landscapes.

Dinner and overnight in the Scandic Harstad or similar (B, D)

Day 4  : HARSTAD – TROMSØ

Drive to Tromso

Tromsø – The Arctic Gateway: Located 400km north of the Arctic Circle at 69˚N, the small city of Tromsø bills itself as Norway's gateway to the Arctic, and there's definitely more than a hint of polar atmosphere around town. Tromsø is the city of adventures and aventurers. Evening at leisure. Dinner under own arrangements.

Overnight in the Quality Saga or similar (B)

Day 5  : TROMSØ – HONNINGSVÅG – NORTH CAPE

Continue to North Cape - excursion to the North Cape promontory

Continue your journey to the northernmost point of Europe, the North Cape. Short ferry crossings from Breivikeidet to Svensby & from Lyngseidet to Olderdalen.
After driving along the Kvænangen fjord, we continue through the heart of the arctic region of Finnmark, Norway’s largest county; "where East meets West," in culture as well as in nature and geography. By land, it borders Troms County to the west, Finnish Lapland to the south, Russian Murmansk to the east; and by water, the Norwegian Sea (Atlantic Ocean) to the northwest, and the Barents Sea (Arctic Ocean) to the north and northeast. Here, the human presence is almost imperceptible, except for a few Sami (Lappish people) encampments and reindeer herds that wind along the straight running through the wild tundra, on the borders of continental Europe. The journey is long, but the reward will be great as soon as we reach our goal: The North Cape.

Late afternoon arrival in Honningsvåg, check in & dinner. Evening excursion to the North Cape promontory. The summer sun doesn’t set between the middle of May and the end of July and you can enjoy watching the midnight sun or the sunset over the Barents Sea from the North Cape Plateau.

Dinner and overnight in the Scandic Nordkapp or similar (B, D)

Day 6  : HONNINGSVÅG — ALTA — OSLO

Tour of Alta - return flight to Oslo

Departure towards Alta, the largest town in Norway’s northernmost county. Alta is in the process of being certified as a sustainable destination, which is an approval that the destination works systematically to reduce the negative impact of tourism. Alta wishes to preserve the local nature, culture and environment. From May to August, thanks to the Midnight Sun, there are about 24 hours of sunlight. Flight Alta - Oslo.

Overnight in the Clarion Oslo Airport Hotel or similar (B)

Day 7  : DEPARTURE FROM OSLO

If time allows you, visit the city of Oslo again for some last minute shopping, or enjoy a walk through this vibrant city. Transfer to the airport is on your own (B)
