Day 1  : Reykjavik

Your Iceland holidays start today when you arrive in Reykjavik. Upon arrival FLYBUS transfer to the hotel and check-in .The northernmost capital of the world, this buzzing cultural city is where cosmopolitan currents meet traditional trends. In the afternooon, there will be a city tour of Reykjavik, showing you the hot spots in the area. Overnight in Reykjavik.

Day 2  : Reykjavik - City Sightseeing & Golden Circle Afternoon

Hotel pick up after breakfast. During city sighseeing tour you will visit the Presidential Residence at Bessastaðir and Hafnarfjörður, the town where humans and the “hidden people” live together in harmony. Enjoy an incredible view of the city and its surroundings from the Perlan restaurant, visit Hallgrímskirkja church, the University area and the old town centre where the Icelandic parliament  Alþingi is located. The tour takes a break in the city centre where passengers are dropped off to take a stroll or have lunch (not included in the price). 

After the break we join the Golden Circle Afternoon tour, which leaves Reykjavík at 13:00 and head for the countryside to the National Park Þingvellir; renowned for its historic legacy and geological intrigue. From there we continue our journey to the geothermal area surrounding the spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur and then to the majestic Gullfoss glacial waterfall. We return to the city over the mountain heath Hellisheiði. Return to the hotel around 7pm. Overnight in Reykjavik.

Day 3  : Reykjavik - South Coast & Waterfalls

Pick up from the hotel after breakfast. Today we travel through the south Iceland to the black sand beaches, majestic volcanoes, thundering waterfalls, majestic glaciers on the south coast. Our first stop is at Skógarfoss, a picturesque waterfall pouring down the slopes of famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano. We continue for a leisurely stroll along the black sand beach of Reynisfjara featuring stacks of basalt columns that wall off surrounding cliffs scattered with caves. Offshore you will see Reynisdrangar pillars, basalt rock stacks rising from the sea. Icelandic legend says they were trolls turned into rock by the rising sun when they came home late after a fishing trip. We end this great sightseeing tour with a stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall where we can walk behind this magnificent wall of water, right in the slopes of Eyjafjallajökull volcano. On a clear day you will have a fantastic view of famous volcanoes, Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull. You will also see the Westman Islands, rising steeply from the ocean just a few kilometres of the coast. 

Day 4  : Reykjavik - free day to relax or visit Glacier Lagoon

Your day is free today for shopping, exploring this modern and vibrant city with a wide selection of restaurants and night clubs, or a relaxing visit to the Blue Lagoon. Overnight in Reykjavik.

Day 5  : Reykjavik

After breakfast FLYBUS transfer to Keflavik International airport to catch your flight home.
