Hi Alex, Our trip was truly wonderful. Both cities with their museums, palaces, and cathedrals were were awe inspiring, and we learned so much about history and culture. We had beautiful weather, and that made the visit even more perfect. The Bolshoi ballet was a wonderful experience, as was the Verdi opera at the Marinsky theater. We also (by chance) happened upon a free acappella concert in St Isaac's cathedral which was very beautiful, and so perfect in that gorgeous location.

I worked with Susie to book my specific tour requests. Her advice was very good and helpful regarding tour times, crowds and hotels. The bookings for bus, train and boat were through Norway in a Nutshell. There were some schedule issues with them. After taking the train from Bergen to Voss the bus schedule information was not accurate. The 1:00 bus to Gudvangen only let off riders- it was at the end of its day. There was another bus at 2:00 listed, however, that was a different company and the pre-paid tickets were not honored. Finally, we got a 3:00 bus which got us to Gudvangen for the boat to Flam. I'm not sure what happened with the scheduling, but Norway in a Nutshell needs to get it accurate.

Norway In A Nutshell tour was one of the most stress-free trips I’ve ever been on. I highly recommend booking it in advance with an experienced tour agent like Nordic Saga Tours. You will get all the tips before the trip which will give you peace of mind and worry-free holiday. We loved the tour very much. We booked Norway In A Nutshell tour through Nordic Saga Tours website in advance. This saved us a lot of time and worry. Everything about this tour from beginning to end was very straight-forward. Nordic Saga personnel was available to answer any questions 24/7, so we arrived in Bergen very confident. This tour is a fantastic possibility to experience the stunning fjords, majestic mountains, cascading waterfalls, and charming countryside. We have never seen anything for beautiful.
