Hello Fellow Travellers, It now seems like a dream of our trip to Iceland. We have been home now a few days and have recovered from an unexpected Jet Lag. We left Maple Ridge via Iceland Air at 4:00 p.m. after enjoying Iceland Air's airport lounge with free food and beverages. We landed in Reykjavik at 6:00 a.m. (local time) which was too early to check into Hotel. The airport Kerflavik is about a 40 minute drive to the city centre of Reykjavik. We met our wonderful tour guide Kari at the airport who showed us around town and local sites until we could check into our hotel room. Now being up for about 40 hours we were wiped.

Our tour The best of the West was really one of the best tours I've ever been to. Every detail was well thought of. We saw fantastic places and experienced unbelievable adventures. My favorite part of the tour was visiting Westfjords. The nature there is unbelievable. We will be traveling with Nordic Saga Tours next summer again as they proved to be real professionals providing exclusive service. Leonardo – Leonardo -

Dear Dora, writing to thank you for a fantastic tour you made for us. Our driver guide Gulian was unbelievable. He took us to the most remote places which are known and accessible only by the locals.We had the most exquisite meals and saw amazing nature. This was a trip of my lifetime. – Monica – Monica -

This tour was an amazing experience! A trip of a lifetime! Iceland is incredible and this trip was designed to show us as much as possible of its wonders. The itinerary was great and our fantastic guide Ivos did his best to keep us happy. We liked it all the landscapes, the hotels, the food (lamb was excellent!). However, my absolute highlight was snorkeling between the continental plates. It was not cold as we had expected and it was out of this world! The water was so clear that we were simply stunned. Our guide, Richard, was superb. He was very friendly, professional and caring. The dry suits were not very comfortable but they kept us dry which was important.

We did a 9 day self drive tour ICELAND CIRCLE booked from Nordic Saga Tours. Very good organization, helpful maps and well-chosen itineraries. The service we received from Nordic Saga and the accommodations arranged by them were flawless. We wouldn't have done better if we were doing a tour on our own. It takes quite a lot of time and knowledge to do the booking and arranging the itinerary and relying all on yourself.
