Itinerary:

Day 1  : Arrival in Helsinki

Arrival in Helsinki airport and private transfer to your hotel and check-inl. Check-in is guaranteed from 3pm.

Day 2  : Helsinki - Tallinn - Helsinki

Full-day tour to Tallinn by ferry

After breakfast, transfer  to seaport to board a 2-hour ferry to Tallinn. Upon arrival in Tallinn, a private tour of the city and  the Old Town including Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Dome Church, onwards along Pikk Street to the Lower Town with Niguliste Church and the Old Town Hall (the oldest in North-Europe). The tour ends at the sea terminal, where you board your ferry to return to Helsinki. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 3  : Helsinki

Half-day Helsinki Private Walking Tour, early evening - overnight ferry to Stockholm

In the morning, take a private walking tour of the Finnish capital with a local guide. The Finns are proud of their history, and Helsinki is a great place to see how well their culture has been preserved. Your tour guide will show you the beautiful old buildings and modern architecture. On this tour, you will cover the city's main attractions and combine walking with a tram ride. You will see the historical Senate Square with the Lutheran Church, the Market Square, the Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, Katajanokka with its Art Nouveau district, Esplanadi Park, the famous Rock Church, and the Oodi Public Library.

In the afternoon, transfer to the seaport to board an overnight ferry to Stockholm.

Day 4  : Stockholm

Walking Tour of Stockholm and Vasa Museum (3 hours)

Breakfast onboard. Upon arival to Stockholm, transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, you will be introduced to the city's top attractions, and the Old Town. The tour will take you to many of the 14 islands that Stockholm is built on, connected by 57 bridges. You will discover wonderful old buildings, many from the 17th and 18th centuries, and some of the basements date back to the 13th and 14th centuries. You will also see the Royal Palace, its guards, and the Stockholm Cathedral as you walk along the narrow cobblestone streets. The Great Square, with its old well and traditional Christmas market in December, is filled with happy travelers enjoying the sun in the summertime. Some places and buildings that you will see in Old Town include the Royal Palace Hill, the Royal Palace and Court Yard, Tessin Palace, the Cathedral, the Great Square (Stortorgeet), the Nobel Museum, the Runestone, and the Parliament Building.

Day 6  : Stockholm - Oslo

After breakfast, hotel check-out and transfer to the train station. Fast train from Stockholm to Oslo takes about 5-6 hours. Your hotel is conveniently located within 5 minute walk from Oslo Central train station.

Highlights of Oslo - Public Transportation Walking Tour (3 hours)

On this tour, you will view the key sights of Oslo, including Vigeland Park. The small and compact city center of Oslo makes it easy to stroll anywhere. The tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a city tour of Oslo. While there, you'll see Karl Johans gate, the city's major thoroughfare, Aker Brygge, Old Town Christiania, Akershus Castle and Fortress, the city hall, and the Royal Palace (from the outside). The tram will take you to Vigeland Park.

A beautiful tram ride through Frogner, one of Oslo's nicest neighborhoods, will take you to Gustav Vigeland Park. As you stroll in the park, your guide will tell you about the artist and the sculptures he created. Afterward, return to the city center via tram, bus, or metro.

Day 8  : Oslo - Flam (unescorted)

Sognefjord in a Nutshell

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

Today you will depart on a scenic tour of Norwegian fjords. The Norway in a Nutshell ® tour takes you through stunning fjord scenery. During the fjord tour, you will experience the breathtaking Flåm Railway, the scenic Bergen Railway, the Aurlandsfjord, the narrow Nryfjord, and the steep hairpin bends of Stalheimskleiva. Early morning departure on the scenic Bergen Railway through the Hallingdal Valley, via Geilo, and across a mountain plateau to Myrdal. Then, ride the famous Flåm Railway, descending 2,840 feet in 12 miles into the wild Flåm Valley, passing spectacular views of waterfalls, mountain cliffs, tiny settlements, and farms. Upon arrival in Flam, walk to your hotel.

Porter Service** will transport your main luggage (1 piece per person) from the Oslo hotel to the Bergen hotel, while you can bring an overnight backpack. So travel light and enjoy your holiday.

In the afternoon, you will walk to the pier to board the boat that takes you on the narrow Aurlandsfjord, crossing the longest and deepest fjord in the world, the Sognefjord, to Balestrand. In Balestrand, your hotel is a short walk from the pier. Walk to your hotel and check-in. Explore the area on your own.

Day 10  : Balestrand - Bergen

Sognefjord in a Nutshell

In the morning, walk back to the pier and take another beautiful cruise on the Sognefjord, passing waterfalls, small towns, and farms. Arrive in Bergen Harbor (Bryggen). Then, take a short stroll to your hotel.

Floibanen Mountain Cable Car
Escape the city by taking the funicular to Mount Floyen for panoramic views of the fjord-side city and its famous seven mountains. It's also a great place to watch the sunset! The journey up to the peak of Mount Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes 5–8 minutes and is an experience in itself, cutting through the steep mountainside and forests and revealing more of the city below.

Day 11  : Bergen

Guided Food & Cultural Walk (3 hours)
Use all of your senses to experience Bergen. This tour will teach you about Bergen's history and culture, as well as the flavors of local cuisine.

Bergen is included in UNESCO's list of inventive cities for foodies. Your local guide will lead you around the historic district of the city, and there will be five stops along the way where you can sample the local fare. We'll go to Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where a locally owned little restaurant will offer a nice meal for lunch. The final stop will be in the oldest cellar still in existence in Norway, with a unique tale and a beer.

Day 12  : Bergen - Eidfjord - Bergen

Hardangerfjord in a Nutshell (10 hours)

You can fully appreciate the Hardangerfjord's natural splendor while on a fjord cruise, and you also get to see the picturesque community of Eidfjord, which is located just a short distance from the fjord and the mountains.

On the Hardangerfjord round trip, you will travel through a scene of imposing mountains, thundering waterfalls, and lovely orchards.

Afterward, you take part in a scenic tour of Eidfjord that includes stops at the Norwegian Nature Center Hardanger and Vringsfossen, Norway's tallest waterfall. Everyone can gasp in awe at the new lookout locations beside the Vringfossen!

On this tour, you will be able to move quickly and easily through one of Norway's most beautiful fjord regions. Everything has been planned out just for your enjoyment!

After breakfast, hotel check-out and transfer to the airport. A short 1.5 hour flight will take you to Copenhagen. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 15  : Copenhagen

Full-day tour outside Copenhagen

On this small-group guided trip, you will leave Copenhagen for the day and see the UNESCO-designated Kronborg Castle, which served as the setting for Shakespeare's Hamlet, and Frederiksborg Castle, the largest Renaissance-era castle in Scandinavia.
Visit the beautiful Roskilde Cathedral, where many kings and queens are buried, after seeing the fortifications. Then, visit the Viking Ship Museum and learn how the Vikings built their ships. The maximum number of participants on this small-group tour is 16, and pick-up and drop-off are provided at your Copenhagen hotel.
