Azerbaijan and Georgia Explorer

Wendy and Rick Gervine 22 September 2014
This was an excellent tour and a great introduction to both Azerbaijan and Georgia. The itinerary was packed with fascinating historical sites, beautiful landscapes, and authentic cultural experiences, yet it never felt rushed.
In Azerbaijan, we enjoyed exploring modern and historic Baku, visiting the ancient rock carvings of Gobustan, the fire temple of Ateshgah, and the charming Silk Road town of Sheki. The contrast between the country's modern architecture and ancient traditions was especially interesting. Georgia was equally impressive. We loved wandering through Tbilisi's colorful old town, tasting local wines in Kakheti, and experiencing the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Caucasus. The highlights for us were Svaneti and the UNESCO-listed village of Ushguli, with its medieval stone towers and spectacular views of Mount Shkhara. Kutaisi, Ananuri, and the cave city of Uplistsikhe added even more variety to the journey. The hotels were comfortable, transportation was reliable, and the guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their countries. The included meals, wine tasting, and traditional folk performances added a special cultural touch. The group was friendly and international, making the experience even more enjoyable. We came home with a much deeper appreciation for the history, culture, and natural beauty of the Caucasus. We would happily recommend this tour to anyone looking for an enriching and memorable travel experience.

Legends of the Norwegian Fjords

Madh and Bryson Everly 19 September 2014
Hi Bobby, We are home after a pleasant trip to Scandinavia with great friends, breathtaking scenery, amazing food, awesome hotels, and unforgettable memories! Loved the train trip on the Bergen Railway. The many ferry crossings we made were also spectacular. I can’t really put into words how beautiful this part of the world is. The fjords are majestic and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The tour was well coordinated and almost everything worked out as it was supposed to. The only issue we came across was the day we spent in Stockholm. The weather wasn’t cooperating (lots of rain), and some of the sights we wanted to see on our free time were either closed for repairs or closed for the day. Oh well. We have traveled quite a bit with many tour companies and and your services were second to none, during and prior to our departure from Colorado. We will not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone who is planning to travel to Scandinavia. Once again thanks a lot for a job well done. We really enjoyed the whole tour and the manner in which it was handled by Nordic Saga Tours. Cheers, Madh and Bryson Everly

Norwegian Fjords & Coastline - II

George 19 September 2014
Hi Bobby, We just returned home yesterday following a one month trip. I wanted to thank you for a very well organized trip. You did a fantastic job and Cathi and I are beyond grateful. Did you also arrange the perfect weather we had? We had mostly sunny skies, a little rain that was if no consequence and beautiful fall colors as well as spectacular panoramas. Again, thanks so much. Do you only work on trips to Norway? Let me know, we travel a lot. Below are some photos for you George
