The tour was very busy right from the start. There is a lot of daily bus time required to cover the whole Ring Road in 7 days. Most days started at 9:00am and didn't get to the hotel until after 5:00pm. The sights were all wonderful with breathtaking views seemingly every few minutes. The tour guide was adequate, a little low key for my liking. He did a great job getting us to all the sights safely. The bus was comfortable, only 11 people on a 16 person bus. All hotels were very good with exception of Hotel Hofn, definitely a 1 star. Alll included meals were very good and always offered an alternative selection for dinners. Most waterfalls had several flights of stairs to get to the best viewing points (one had over 400 steps!) or steep paths. Many of the paths required negotiating lava flows. Traveling the ring road was a great experience and would definitely recommend that tour.

The bus seemed tight as a small minibus. Would have prefered the larger bus. Guide/driver was excellent but thought it might be two separate people but it was handled well. Food was great. Would have liked to spend more time before the tour in Reykavik.
