We enjoyed the trip very much. It was a good idea to explore Iceland driving along the most spectacular coast. With comprehensive maps we managed to see so much at our own pace and free of any worry. It was a most relaxing adventure. What a scenery! I will never forget the craters we saw, cliffs, fantastic beaches and many other breathtaking views. Hello Dora! The tour was fabulous! We loved it very much. Our guide, Janis, was the best guide one could wish for, very informative, attentive, and fast-thinking in certain situations. The cities we visited were beautiful, interesting, and we had a lot of fun there. The hotels - very well chosen, with good breakfast and excellent service. We learned a lot during this trip, and it didn't seem too long as it was fun to travel with nice fellow travelers, a safe driver, and a fantastic guide. Local guides were very good, as well. For many years I have been dreaming to visit Iceland and Greenland and to have a glimpse of the origins of the Vikings. This tour was exactly how I expected it to be. All was very well organized - before the tour and during it. I was surprised how smoothly everything was managed. All the information provided by Nordic Saga company before the trip was very useful and made this trip relaxing. The guide Gunar was fantastic . His knowledge and passion for his job were remarkable. The Viking ruins made quite an impression on me as well as the scenery in Greenland, the icebergs, the fjords, and the friendly local people. It was fascinating to get an insight of the life in this isolated corner of the world. The views of icebergs and fjord cliffs are still haunting me. Tons of photos I made will not let me forget this exceptional experience.
