11-day Classic Norwegian Discovery Voyage was a journey of our lifetime. We enjoyed everything in this journey. The coastal views were incredibly beautiful. We met a lot of interesting people on the boat from different countries – Germany, France, UK, Australia and other. The food was of good quality, but there was not much variation from day to day. The wine was expensive, but we mostly enjoyed water and coffee which was very good. Many ports we visited were small towns with little to see, but the real beauty of this trip was the coastal beauty of Norway. This voyage for sure was a delightful and memorable time. We made a Southbound Norway Coastal Voyage in 6 days and are very happy we went for it. It was just amazing. I have never seen more beautiful cliffs and coastal landscapes. The boat was nice and cozy. All was perfect. Excursions are a bit expensive, but it is possible to investigate the ports on your own. No complaints. 6-Day Southbound Norway Coastal Voyage was a remarkable experience of fantastic natural beauty. We have just finished this cruise. We enjoyed the beautiful views during all the cruise. The food on the boat was excellent, varied and plentiful. The crew was helpful and friendly, and very professional. We went on 2 trips. The trips were expensive, but if this is once a lifetime cruise we enjoyed ourselves as much as we could. The cabin was comfortable. I would like to drop a few lines about our recent tour to Scandinavia. The tour was very neatly organized without major delays or other drawbacks. We visited Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm, and a few other places. All cities were just beautiful but my heart was captured by the amazing nature. I was stunned by the majestic fjords, forests, and valleys. All this trip was a feast for the eyes. I will definitely return to Scandinavia to explore more of its unbelievable natural wonders. We loved the Norwegian coast cruise very much – thank you! Our cabin was small, but there was enough storeroom. We could have booked a larger cabin but decided to go for this one as the cabin was needed for sleeping only. We had our own toilet and shower, and they changed the towels whenever we needed. The choices for breakfast and lunch were excellent – particularly if you like seafood. We only expected that the hot food had been a bit hotter – sometimes it was just warm. However, the views of the coastline were stunning and nothing could compete with the emotions we had gazing at all this beauty. All in all, we were very happy to have taken this trip and hope we will book something similar with you next year.

What an amazing journey! Cruising in a small ship is so different from a big ship experience. With a small Hurtigruten ship you can you get really close to the Norwegian coast and can visit so many ports. Some of the ports were very small and we stayed there just about 15 min but other ports were larger and we could explore the location on foot or take an excursion. The ship captain surprised us how skillfully he was navigating the islands and fjords of the coast. We came very close to the cliffs, almost reaching out to touch some of them. Could not fault the food and staff on board . The ship was very nice, good lounge-bar in front of the ship on deck 7, and there was a lovely coffee bar.
