The Dog-Sledding Adventure:  You´ll drive the dog sled by yourself into the white landscapes, through the beautiful Vass valley- an uninhabited forest landscape surrounded by majestic mountains. Upon arrival at our wilderness camp, you´ll receive outdoor clothes and shoes to keep you warm during your stay. You will get instructions on how to drive a dog sledding team by experienced mushers. 

You will be driving in pairs, one driver and one passenger on each sled, with the opportunity to switch places half way. The trails you follow have a total distance of approximately 10-12 km, and you will be on the sled for about 1,5-2 hours. At the end of the trail you will return to Camp, where you will be served a hot meal and fresh coffee in the dining Lavvu.

Hop into a breathtaking journey to explore the arctic landscapes. Discover Kvaløya, Norway’s fifth largest island, before reaching the historically fishing village of Sommarøy.  You will head towards the west coast, driving through the island of Kvaløya. The guide will show you the most beautiful spots to admire on the way and tell you about the history and wildlife of the area. You will stop at some easily accessible spots & capturing the endless beauty through your camera lens. From breath taking fjord view, valleys and beaches, you will get to see the arctic landscape that the region has to offer.

On the way back to Tromsø, we'll take the scenic route along the southern coast of Kvaløya, with a couple of additional photo stops. Here, you'll take in stunning views of the mountains of Malangen, as well as the island of Senja off in the distance, with its iconic jagged peaks.

Enjoy a delicious lunch in the small village of Sommarøy, at the prestigious Arctic Hotel.
Please bring: Warm clothing, warm footwear and a camera to take amazing pictures Be sure to dress in warm layers (regardless of the time of year!)

Tromso Island Private Tour
Discover Tromsø island with a private tour around the mythic places of the city. Start your journey with a comfortable pick‑up from your hotel by your host for the day. Your experience begins with visits to Tromsø’s most iconic attractions, followed by an insightful stop at the Arctic University Museum of Norway (Tromsø Museum), where you will learn about Norway’s indigenous Sami people and the fascinating science behind the Northern Lights.

Cross the Tromsø Bridge to the mainland and pass by the striking Arctic Cathedral before boarding the Fjellheisen cable car. A short ride takes you up to 421 meters above sea level, where you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Tromsø island and its beautiful Arctic surroundings. 
Enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant in the oldest part of town at end the tour.

Aurora Hut Overnight Experience
An all-in-one magical adventure including return transport from Tromsø. Your adventure begins with a scenic 75‑minute transfer from Tromsø to the Basecamp, departing at 17:00 (5 PM). Upon arrival, you’ll check into your private Aurora Hut, featuring a comfortable double bed and an impressive 180‑degree panoramic view through floor‑to‑ceiling windows and a glass roof—perfect for watching the Arctic sky.

Each hut includes a small indoor toilet, with shared shower facilities available nearby. A hot dinner is included, offering a warm and satisfying meal before you head out to explore the surrounding wilderness. Guests enjoy complimentary use of fat bikes and snowshoes, allowing you to roam the snowy landscape at your own pace.

A relaxing sauna session is also included, with the time arranged upon arrival. Afterward, unwind at the outdoor bonfire area, an ideal spot to wait for the Northern Lights to appear. Indoors, a cosy lounge invites you to enjoy quiet conversations, board games, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Begin your morning with a hearty breakfast at the Basecamp before meeting your English‑speaking snowmobile guide at 10:30. After a safety briefing and gear fitting, you’ll embark on an exhilarating 1.5–2 hour snowmobile ride through pristine Arctic landscapes—an unforgettable highlight of your stay.

All necessary winter gear is provided, including a thermal suit, winter boots, mittens, hat, and safety helmet, ensuring comfort and warmth throughout the experience. A hot lunch with drinks is included after your ride. Vegetarian meals are available upon request at the time of booking.

In the afternoon, you’ll depart the Basecamp at 16:00, enjoying a scenic 75‑minute transfer back to Tromsø, arriving at approximately 17:35.

NOTE:

• Guests under 18 and guests without a driving licence are not allowed to drive
• This tour is subject to weather and snow conditions. Owing to these conditions, the location of the activity can be moved to the nearby areas of Tamok or Skibotn (in the Storfjord/Lyngenfjord area).
• If conditions change, we reserve the right to amend the time spent on the snowmobile.
• Children under 8 years old will not be able to participate in the snowmobile activity.
• We can’t guarantee you will see Northern Lights as it’s a natural phenomenon
