The journey begins in Tromsø, the self-proclaimed Capital of the Arctic, where a Northern Lights dinner cruise on your very first evening sets the tone for everything that follows. Over the next two days, you choose your own level of thrill — drive your own dog sled across Kvaløya island, ride a snowmobile into the Tamok valley at dusk, or watch the Aurora Borealis from the mountaintop cable car above the city. Then the pace shifts. A short flight south drops you into Bergen, where cobblestone lanes, a buzzing fish market, and the Fløibanen funicular offer a completely different side of Norway. The grand finale is the legendary Norway in a Nutshell route — a single day that packs in a scenic train, a mountain bus, a narrow-fjord cruise through Nærøyfjord, the famous Flåm Railway, and an arrival into Oslo as the sun sets over the highlands.

Welcome! to Tromsø - The Capital of the Arctic.
Upon arrival at Tromsø Airport, take the airport bus “Flybussen” to Tromso city center with stops at several hotels in the center. Hotel Check-in. Rest of the day at leisure.
Aurora Dinner Cruise
In the evening, enjoy a Northern Lights Dinner Cruise on a very comfortable boat with spacious deck space, toilets, and a warm, cozy lounge. You will hunt for the lights and get a fabulous view of the Tromsø area on a beautiful Arctic winter night. During the trip, you will be served a traditional North Norwegian fish dinner.

Dog Sledding SELF-DRIVE or Dog Sledding RIDE
Try your hand as a musher! Experienced guides will provide an introduction to dog sledding before you depart, so don't worry if you have never done it before! Set off into the wilderness. You will share the sled with another guest; one will drive, and the other will ride as the passenger. At the halfway point, you will switch.

Join us for a dog sled trip on Kvaløya, one of Norway’s largest islands. Enjoy the great views of the mountains surrounding Tromsø towards the Balsfjord and Malangen peninsula. Everyone will have a sled driven by our professional mushers; the sled will be shared with one or two other guests.
In total, you will be on the sled for about 45-60 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. Afterward, you can meet and cuddle our 200 Alaskan huskies and their puppies during a guided tour of our dog yard. Learn all about dog sled racing, the Alaskan Husky breed, and animal welfare! Then a hearty lunch of Bidos (a traditional Sami reindeer stew, vegetarian options available upon prior request), something hot to drink, and a piece of our signature chocolate cake await you in Gamme-hut. Served around an open fire, it will warm you right up after your trip. After a goodbye to the dogs, we make our way back to Tromsø.

Enjoy a spectacular view of Tromsø and its beautiful surroundings from above, daytime or evening. The Fjellheisen cable car brings you from Solliveien in Tromsdalen up to Storsteinen, 421 meters above sea level, in just four minutes. Catch a lift to fantastic views of the city and the beautiful Aurora Borealis – this is the best place to see the Northern Lights in Tromsø!
The cable car travels up and down the mountain every full and half hour. You can decide for yourself how long you want to be on the mountain within our opening hours.

Bergen Scenic Tour & Fish Me Tasting
The scenic tour is the best way to get to know Bergen. You will see all the most important sights in the city center. Get to know Bergen by walking through its historic streets and alleyways. We explore the Wharf, introduce you to the Hanseatic period, the fish trade and the daily life of Bergen’s inhabitants from 1100 AD to today.
At the end we stop first at the Fish Market, a bustling life, a rich selection of fish and shellfish and an atmosphere you will hardly experience anywhere else. You get to taste a rich plate with different flavors of fish and shellfish, put together by the fantastic chefs at Fishme. After the tour, your guide will drop you off at the Lower Station of the Fløibanen, where you can take the funicular up on your own.
Later explore on your own, one of Norway’s best-known and most visited attractions. - The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen. The journey up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes about 5–8 minutes. Mount Fløyen has many hiking opportunities and is a perfect starting point for a wonderful walk in the city’s mountains.

Early breakfast and check-out. Your main luggage will be picked up at your hotel in Bergen and safely transferred to your hotel in Oslo by Porter Service, so you may concentrate on focusing your camera on some of the world's most breathtaking nature.
Norway in a Nutshell in a Day
Take a short walk or a short taxi ride from your hotel to Bergen Railway Station. Start on a scenic train journey to Voss. From Voss, you travel by bus through charming villages and scenic nature landscapes, towards Gudvangen. The bus will arrive in Gudvangen, where you continue the tour by taking a fjord cruise on the narrow Nærøyfjord and the magnificent Aurlandsfjord. Nærøyfjord is one of the narrowest fjords in Europe and is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List. After your fjord cruise, you arrive in the small village of Flåm, nestled in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord.
Upon arrival at Flåm, you will board the legendary Flåm Railway. The Flåm Railway offers spectacular panoramic views of some of the wildest and most magnificent nature in the Norwegian fjord landscape. The Flåm Railway will arrive in Myrdal, where you change trains to the Bergen Railway. You continue the rail journey through scenic mountain terrain to Oslo.
Upon arrival at Oslo Central Station, take a short stroll to your hotel. Hotel Check-in.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you so very much for your planning for our trip. It was absolutely fantastic!!!!! The hotel, was wonderful (and you were right, of course, the walk from our hotel to the pick-up site was just a short walk). An unexpected surprise was their buffet dinner, which was welcomed after wonderful days out at Camp Tamok. Everyone we came into contact with, car driver for airport pick-up, hotel staff and most especially the wonderful people at the Camp helped to make this a very special trip. We did get to see the Northern Lights on our first night (on the boat where the captain and his staff were a wonderful introduction to the Norwegian people)!
