I just returned from a 16 day Scandinavian trip which I booked through Nordic Saga. My agent Bobby from Nordic Saga planned my group trip and I want to commend him on a fantastic, incredible, and unbelievable job he did. It was my first time leading a group of 35 and during the planning stages Bobby kept assuring me that I had nothing to worry about. He was correct. Everything went smoothly, the hotels were gorgeous and restaurant’s breakfasts were delicious and impressive. The buses for excursions were first class and always prompt. Our tour guides were fabulous. Bobby went above and beyond with the difficult last minute task of changing our flights to leave 2 days earlier due to Hurricane Dorian. His persistence and hard work in accomplishing this was greatly appreciated considering the fact that there were so few flights available due to the hurricane. He is to be complimented and praised for making this trip a wonderful experience and giving us so many beautiful memories. I highly recommend Bobby and Nordic Saga.

Hi Bobby; Thank you for all the effort you put in to making our Scandinavian vacation a complete success. The hotels were perfect. Great, central locations next to all the action, train stations and or depots. More importantly, all of our shuttles, ferries, cab service and air line connections could not have worked out better. This level of detail made our vacation easy and seamless; eliminating the worry of finding a cab that can fit all of the luggage, having the proper currency, explaining hotel directions, etc., everything was pre-paid and taken care for us ahead of time. This really made our trip enjoyable. Thank you again, Bill & Karen

Everything was as described. The hotels were centrally located and very nice. Daily tours were very interesting, although sometimes sad. Guide was very helpful and informative.

Hello dear Bobby, In a word, PERFECT! As you know, you worked and put together an extensive 4/5 country tour package for Vicki and I and what you managed to put together went remarkably well in every way possible. With very little exception, this trip now ranks as the best of our many trips, which considering the now 67 countries on all 7 continents around the globe we visited, is a big statement. I only have a few feedback suggestions and a request: 1) Be more specific with US based guest re the hotel standards, e.g., a standard room in the US is a superior room in Europe. This is a problem that is easily rectified by advising clients up front of the difference. 2) While the Sogenfjiord in a Nutshell was outstanding, it is a bit too rushed. Perhaps it’s because we’d been traveling for some time already that it made us feel that way, but for sure, all three countries in Scandinavia are worth more time. 3) When able, please contact your tour providers in Stockholm and Oslo and request contact information for Sofia, our guide in Stockholm, and for Helen, our guide in Oslo. We had great guides all along the way and exchanged contact detail, but somehow missed these two exceptional women. Our thanks for: 1) Turning things around in St. Petersburg with my concern at the brevity of the Peter and Paul Fortress tour. In the end it made the rest of our guided tour with Ana a truly exceptional one. 2) For reaching out to your tour operator in Bergen who weren’t there to meet us off our flight. 3) For reaching out to your tour operator in Bergen about our bag transfer. As promised there they were when we checked into the Continental Oslo. 4) Your expert choosing of hotel accommodations all along the way as each of them were up to, or exceeded world class standards. As you now know, we’ve stayed at many of the world’s premier hotel’s and this trip has matched or exceeded our experiences. 5) Your choice of tour operator partners, all of who put together exceptional and interesting tours of their countries. 6) And lastly, for being there all along the way with us. It put us at ease knowing you were monitoring our movement.
All our best,
Jon & Vicki

I would like to drop a few lines about our recent tour to Scandinavia. The tour was very neatly organized without major delays or other drawbacks. We visited Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm, and a few other places. All cities were just beautiful but my heart was captured by the amazing nature. I was stunned by the majestic fjords, forests, and valleys. All this trip was a feast for the eyes. I will definitely return to Scandinavia to explore more of its unbelievable natural wonders. It was a fantastic holiday. Highly recommended.

Scandinavia and Fjords - unforgettable! This was our first tour that was guided and coordinated. Usually, we plan our own vacations and use tours very seldom. This time we decided to be layed back leaving everything to Nordic Saga Tour company to design a tour for us. There were good and not so good things about this trip. Good was that everything was arranged very smoothly, with only minor delays and misunderstandings. We had some who delayed us but it was not something to complain about too much. The itinerary was good, the sites were interesting, well selected. Hotels were very good, meals not always what to be expected from 4-5 star hotels, however. All in all the tour was successful, we enjoyed it very much, especially the Fjords! Probably we'll do another tour soon. See you next summer.

Hi Dora, I wanted to send a quick note about the tour to Scandinavia and Russia back in July. There were many highlights along the way of course, but my personal favorite spot was probably Balestrand. Exploring the fjords and that town on our own was relaxing and perfect for us. Our guide, Celia, was very sweet. Thanks again for your help, I’d have no problem recommending you for anyone hoping to travel to Scandinavia.
Best,

Dora, We arrived home Saturday night from 10 wonderful days on a great Scandinavia tour (rainy weather aside). All our transportation connections worked out perfectly and we couldn't have experienced an easier time moving from city to city. The car rental company provided us a brand new Passat wagon, and the drop off point was within walking distance of the Color Line terminal. Transferring from boat to train, train to train, ferry to ferry, etc. were all effortless! Thanks again for your help! Kevin Green (Now, if you could work on the rainy weather!)

Dear Bobby, We recently completed your Northern Highlights & St. Petersburg tour, from 7/22 to 8/5/14. My wife, Chris, and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour and felt it was well planned and of good value. Our only quibble would be in the city tours with local guides. When there are no stops on such a city tour and little time to go back and explore on our own, the benefit to the client is minimal. In St. Petersburg, the local guide tour was coupled with many stops over several days and the experience was terrific.. Our Robinson tour guide for the trip was Anna Knudsen. This is a remarkable lady who appeared very experienced and looked after our group like a mother hen. We departed for home very early and she met us in the hotel lobby at 2:30 AM to make sure we had a box breakfast and the transportation had come on time at that early hour. Anna was truly excellent and helped made this trip such a delight for us.
Thank you very much,
Steve and Chris Pontius
