Grand Day Trip around Copenhagen (8.5 hours)
On this small-group guided trip, you will leave Copenhagen for the day and see the UNESCO-designated Kronborg Castle, which served as the setting for Shakespeare's Hamlet, and Frederiksborg Castle, the largest Renaissance-era castle in Scandinavia.
Visit the beautiful Roskilde Cathedral, where many kings and queens are buried, after seeing the fortifications. Then, visit the Viking Ship Museum and learn how the Vikings built their ships. The maximum number of participants on this small-group tour is 16, and pick-up and drop-off are provided at your Copenhagen hotel.

Afternoon transfer from hotel to DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise by ferry to Oslo, departing at 16:30. Enjoy your first Scandinavian smörgåsbord dinner as you cruise gently up the Kattegat.

Highlights of Oslo - Public Transportation Walking Tour (3 hours)
On this tour, you will view the key sights of Oslo, including Vigeland Park. The small and compact city center of Oslo makes it easy to stroll anywhere. The tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a city tour of Oslo. While there, you'll see Karl Johans gate, the city's major thoroughfare, Aker Brygge, Old Town Christiania, Akershus Castle and Fortress, the city hall, and the Royal Palace (from the outside). The tram will take you to Vigeland Park.

A beautiful tram ride through Frogner, one of Oslo's nicest neighborhoods, will take you to Gustav Vigeland Park. As you stroll in the park, your guide will tell you about the artist and the sculptures he created. Afterward, return to the city center via tram, bus, or metro.

Sognefjord in a Nutshell

Today you will depart on a scenic tour of Norwegian fjords. The Norway in a Nutshell ® tour takes you through stunning fjord scenery. During the fjord tour, you will experience the breathtaking Flåm Railway, the scenic Bergen Railway, the Aurlandsfjord, the narrow Nryfjord, and the steep hairpin bends of Stalheimskleiva. Early morning departure on the scenic Bergen Railway through the Hallingdal Valley, via Geilo, and across a mountain plateau to Myrdal. Then, ride the famous Flåm Railway, descending 2,840 feet in 12 miles into the wild Flåm Valley, passing spectacular views of waterfalls, mountain cliffs, tiny settlements, and farms. Upon arrival in Flam, walk to your hotel.

Porter Service** will transport your main luggage (1 piece per person) from the Oslo hotel to the Bergen hotel, while you can bring an overnight backpack. So travel light and enjoy your holiday.

Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, you will walk to the pier to board the boat that takes you on the narrow Aurlandsfjord, crossing the longest and deepest fjord in the world, the Sognefjord, to Balestrand. In Balestrand, your hotel is a short walk from the pier. Walk to your hotel and check-in. Explore the area on your own.

In the morning, walk back to the pier and take another beautiful cruise on the Sognefjord, passing waterfalls, small towns, and farms. Arrive in Bergen Harbor (Bryggen). Then, take a short stroll to your hotel.

Floibanen Mountain Cable Car
Escape the city by taking the funicular to Mount Floyen for panoramic views of the fjord-side city and its famous seven mountains. It's also a great place to watch the sunset! The journey up to the peak of Mount Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes 5–8 minutes and is an experience in itself, cutting through the steep mountainside and forests and revealing more of the city below.

Guided Food & Cultural Walk (3 hours)
Use all of your senses to experience Bergen. This tour will teach you about Bergen's history and culture, as well as the flavors of local cuisine.

Bergen is included in UNESCO's list of inventive cities for foodies. Your local guide will lead you around the historic district of the city, and there will be five stops along the way where you can sample the local fare. We'll go to Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where a locally owned little restaurant will offer a nice meal for lunch. The final stop will be in the oldest cellar still in existence in Norway, with a unique tale and a beer.

Hardangerfjord (10 hours)
You can fully appreciate the Hardangerfjord's natural splendor while on a fjord cruise, and you also get to see the picturesque community of Eidfjord, which is located just a short distance from the fjord and the mountains.

On the Hardangerfjord round trip, you will travel through a scene of imposing mountains, thundering waterfalls, and lovely orchards.

Afterward, you take part in a scenic tour of Eidfjord that includes stops at the Norwegian Nature Center Hardanger and Vringsfossen, Norway's tallest waterfall. Everyone can gasp in awe at the new lookout locations beside the Vringfossen!

Today you will fly to Stockholm, which many people regard as the most picturesque capital in Scandinavia. When you arrive in Stockholm, a private transfer to your hotel will be provided.

Walking Tour of Stockholm and Vasa Museum (4 hours)
On this walking tour, learn about two of Stockholm's top tourist attractions. With the help of a knowledgeable local guide, you'll walk through the old cobblestone streets of Gamla Stan (Old Town) before stopping at the Royal Palace (Kungliga Slottet) and the Coronation Church (Storkyrkan).

Take the boat to Djurgrden to visit the Vasa Museum, which houses a historic vessel that was painstakingly restored after it sank in 1628. Visit the Coronation Church and the St. George and the Dragon statue in Stockholm's Old Town. Take pictures in front of the Stockholm Royal Palace while your knowledgeable guide tells you more about the Swedish royal family.

Afternoon is free to explore on your own.

Free morning. In the afternoon, take a short taxi ride to the pier, for your overnight cruise by ferry to Helsinki. Depart from Stockholm, sailing slowly through the glorious archipelago past numerous small islands.

Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you approach the Finnish capital Helsinki. After disembarkation, take a taxi to the hotel.

Helsinki Walking Tour with a Private Guide (3 hours)

Helsinki is a very clean city where design is king, nature is a big part of life, and culture and education are very important. Walk around squares, churches, buildings, and parks while your guide tells you stories about Finnish life and culture. Learn things about the people and culture of the area that you could only learn from a guide.
