Bobby, I want to thank you for setting up our 5 day Land of the Fjords tour in Norway, and getting our train tickets to Stockhom and Copenhagen. Everything went very smoothly and we had a wonderful time. We met 9 delightful people on our bus tour of Norway, and we had a wonderful tour guide, Maryanna! Thanks again!

Norway is a beautiful country. The fjords, hotel accommodations, etc. were all great

Anne Knudson was an extraordinary guide. She gave us the full history of the sites we saw and she was a tremendous help finding information for me regarding my ancestors from Norway, and I was actually able to meet one of my cousins near our stop in Balestrand. She helped me prepare with all kinds of information.

The Splendor of the Fjords was outstanding. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Norway for the first time. My advice, though, would be to go in June, as we did, when the snow is still melting off the mountains and cascading into the fjords. We passed hundreds of such splendid waterfalls. And in June, it was green and flowers blooming everywhere. Our tour guide, Christhina Romano and bus driver, Robert, were outstanding and attentive to all our needs. The hotels along the route were more than adequate, providing outstanding breakfasts and accommodations. The Radisson Blu in Oslo at the beginning and end of the tour was a highlight with their great accommodations, lavish breakfast, and central location to the FlytoGet train to the airport, local shopping, and sights.

We went on the Splendor of the Fjords tour, and it was incredible. Norway is the most beautiful country we've ever been to and we we're lucky to be with a great group of people. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in visiting Europe.

I went on the Splendor of the Fjords tour, and it was fantastic. Our tour guide, Anne, was wonderful, intertwining stories of the landscape with the history and politics of Norway for those of us not well versed on those matters. My tour group was a great blend of folks from different countries, and communication was easy between all of us - by the end of the tour, we felt more like a family than a bunch of strangers. Our driver, Sune, was amazing; in the US, I prefer to be the driver so I can have control, but Sune made us all feel safe with his skillful navigation of the country. The food was great (a lot of fish, but most of it was delicious) and the hotels (particularly the ones with fjord views) were fantastic. Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a lot of the southern countryside of Norway. I'll definitely be going back!

Perrfect - Anna was a great guide - sensitive to the needs of all! ... splendor of the fjords - departure July 10th. She was extremely responsive and shared anecdotes and History. Johan was an excellent driver....

We chose the particular week of June 23, 2018 so we could spend 2 nights in Oslo as advertised by Nordic Saga Tours, however, that was not offered so we overnighted in Fagernes. I did not think the Scandic hotels on this trip were as nice as the Radisson Blu hotels we stayed in on our 2016 Baltic trip with Nordic Saga Tours. That being said, the tour overall was wonderful - thank you!

We just got back from our wonderful Splendor of the Fjords tours and I wanted to thank Alex for all his assistance in planning this trip. The tour exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful tour leader. We arrived in Oslo and there was already someone waiting for us. There were no issues, problems or delays through out the entire trip. Norway is a truly beautiful country and through Yves (our guide) we learned a lot about the Norwegian way of life. Both Yves and our driver were absolutely wonderful. We'll definitely use this company next time we travel to Scandinavia.

The trip was wonderful, not like any other trip we had before.Magnificent views, friendly people around you - a small group and very caring guide Adam. Even without the brilliant sights of the northern lights and whales we would have been happy with the experiences we had. Nordic Saga Tours - you are the best! Regards,

A really well organised tour. Our guide, Yves was very good, knowledgable and pleasant. The entire schedule, being fairly tight, was well orchestrated and Yves and Kent, our driver, did well to ensure that we made everything on time. Yves added in a few little features like a visit to an historic Stave church and a village walk which we appreciated. Accommodation was excellent.

Bobby,
Thought I'd send a quick review about my fjord tour. I really have nothing bad to report. All went well and a great time was had. I think I went at the right time of year because the weather was perfect. All guides were knowledgeable, all hotels were clean... The people of Norway were welcoming and friendly. I didn't have any issues. I even bonded with a few other people on the tour so that was nice... (I was traveling alone so I was a bit worried about that.) Thanks for making sure everything was up to my standards. If I travel Scandinavia again someday, I'll shoot you an email.
Cheers,
Matthew Barre

Dear Susie,
Norway was a BLAST! Wow, thank you so much for making that trip to Scandinavia so memorable. The fjords and mountains there are breathtaking. I have so many pictures that almost look like postcards! The scenery is just unreal... The weather was perfect while we were there which I definitely think helped make it that much better. We loved trying all of the new food and going on the informative tours every day with the amazing guides you have working for you was awesome. We really learned a lot about that part of the world. Norway is a special place and somewhere I've always dreamt of going! Thanks once again for making this Scandinavian tour so incredible, you're the best!

Hi Dora,
Thank you for making our trip to Scandinavia so much fun. We really enjoyed the Splendor of the Fjords tour and felt we got to see a lot of Norway. It's really an amazing place, isn't it? The sights and smells are so clean and beautiful, we never wanted to leave! Learning about the history of the country was great and I really have to comment on how wonderful your guides were. Very smart and friendly, too. Our hotels were always nice and the food was much tastier than we had expected. Everything seemed to go according to plan, so thanks again. If we travel Scandinavia in the future, I'll be sure to get in contact with you!
