Experience the best of what Norway has to offer: fjords, waterfalls, coastal and city culture, the unique Viking History, a glacier, mountains, and idyllic islands are among what you will find.
This type of tour is unique, we classify it as semi-independent. You will travel the region using railway, panoramic train route and ferries. There are no coaches included except for the sightseeing in Oslo, we therefore recommend you travel light and find your inner adventurer.
The tour only includes guiding in Oslo and Bergen. Rest of the time is at leisure to explore the region at your own pace. There will be an escort following the route of the tour from Oslo to Bergen. So don’t worry about having vouchers for hotels or trains, these will be taken care of, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
Our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is free. In the evening, meet your felow travelers.
Overnight in Oslo (welcome reception)
This morning, we start our sightseeing tour of the Norwegian capital by walking through the central area with the Cathedral, Parliament, main street Karl Johan, University, and Royal Palace, and visiting the impressive Vigeland park with more than two hundred unique sculptures.
After that, we drive to Lillehammer, famous for hosting the 1994 Winter Olympics Games. Lillehammer is an exciting city of culture, exhibitions, and festivals. It is a city with fresh, clean air, amazing landscapes, numerous museums, and exciting cultural life. The old center boasts wooden houses from the 1800s and Storgata, the main pedestrian street.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we're driving along Peer Gynt Road and stopping to walk around and look at different parts of this beautiful national park.
Then we continue through Romsdal Valley, part of the Golden Route and popular with mountain climbers. A ferry will take us from Solnes to Afarnes and stop briefly in Kristiansund. From Kårvåg to Vevang, we continue by coach with a stop in the village of Bud to look at "The Atlantic Road," an excellent famous piece of modern engineering.

After breakfast, we take a ferry to Vestnes and enjoy the scenic ride. The Trollstigen -Trolls Road opened in 1936 and showcased that time's fantastic engineering and construction skills. It winds along the narrow slopes of the mountain and is surrounded by stone railings.
The trip continues through a mountainous area with glacial lakes and glaciers. From Linge to Eidsdal, we'll cross the Norddalsfjord. Then, we'll take the Eagle's Road, a unique, winding road that will give us amazing views of the Geirangerfjord, often called the most beautiful fjord in all of Norway. UNESCO has put the fjord landscapes of Norway on its list of World Natural Heritage.
Overnight in Nordfjord (breakfast, dinner)
Today, we travel to the Fjaerland area, where we can see the most impressive part of the Jostedalsbreen glacier, the Boyabreen by Fjaerland.
We keep going toward Sognefjord, the King's Fjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway and the second largest in the world. We'll cross this beautiful stretch of water from Mannheller to Fodness. From there, we'll go to Flam by way of the Laerdal Tunnel, which is 15 miles long and one of the longest tunnels in the world.
We finally reach Bergen, one of Norway's most beautiful port cities and a gateway to Norwegia fjords.

The morning will be dedicated to sightseeing of Bergen, traveling back in time through the narrow, dark, and mysterious streets of Bryggen, the former Hanseatic historic harbor district listed in the UNESCO World Heritage. Next, we will visit the Fish Market with its lively picturesque atmosphere, one of Norway's most visited open-air markets.
Afternoon at leisure, time for individual sightseeing and shopping.
Overnight in Bergen (breakfast)
As we head toward Geilo, we cross the Hardangervidda Plateau, Europe's most extensive high-altitude plateau. Hardangervidda is Norway's largest national park. It is known for its stunning scenery and herds of wild reindeer. We get back to the capital of Norway early in the evening.
