Oslo Discovery Tour by Coach

Embark on this guided discovery tour and explore Oslo's “must-see” sights and top attractions!

Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the city, admire stunning views over Oslofjord from Holmenkollen Ski Jump, and get in touch with the art of the most prolific Norwegian sculptor as you stroll through Vigeland Park (approx. 45-50 min guided walk), encompassing more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite, and wrought iron. Then, visit  Bygdøy Peninsula, "the museums' island", where you will enhance your Oslo experience by visiting 2 unique museums: the polar ship Fram Museum and the Norwegian Folk Museum (April - October) or Kon-Tiki Museum (November - March).

Early in the morning, walk to Oslo Central Station and board the train to Bergen. Your main luggage will be transferred to Bergen, allowing you to travel lightly with an overnight backpack. Change trains in Myrdal and enjoy the famous Flam Railway ride through charming villages in the fjords. Get off in Flam and take the rest of the day at a leisurely pace. Dinner will be served in a hotel restaurant.

Continue your journey through the Norwegian fjords from Flåm to Bergen. Start your day sailing through Aurlandsfjord into the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in Europe. This most beautiful arm of Sognefjord is surrounded by mighty waterfalls and small farms clinging to the steep mountainsides. Disembark in Gudvangen and continue by bus through Nærøydalen. In Voss, change to a train on the Bergen Railway for the final stretch of your journey.

After breakfast, enjoy a 3-hour city sightseeing tour of Bergen with a local guide, including a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled packhouses, and the old Hanseatic Quarter. 

After the city tour, you’ll go on a ride on the Bergen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløien. Enjoy great views over the fjords and mountains surrounding the city of Bergen.

In the late afternoon, we will transfer to the ferry terminal and embark on a scenic cruise along Norway's stunning coastline. You’ll sail through beautiful fjords, past towering mountains, small islands, and charming coastal villages. The cruise is relaxing and often includes chances to see wildlife like seabirds, seals, or even whales. Onboard, you can enjoy Norwegian food, cozy cabins, and panoramic views from the deck. It’s a mix of adventure, nature, and culture, perfect for experiencing Norway’s coastal beauty!

Private Guided City Tour, meet your local guide and explore the sights of this historic city, which was the capital of Norway during Viking times. The prominent landmark is Nidaros Cathedral, one of Scandinavia’s most significant buildings from the Middle Ages. Other places of interest are the Old Town Bridge (“Gamle Bybro”), Bakklandet, an idyllic historic neighborhood, the Ringve Music Museum, and Munkholmen Island.

Say goodbye to Norway’s south and fly into the Arctic Circle. The flight from Trondheim to Tromso takes around two hours. Upon arrival in Tromso, we will transfer you to the hotel.

Aurora Dinner Cruise
In the evening, enjoy a Northern Lights Dinner Cruise on a very comfortable boat with spacious deck space, toilets, and a warm, cozy lounge. You will hunt for the lights and get a fabulous view of the Tromsø area on a beautiful Arctic winter night. During the trip, you will be served a traditional North Norwegian fish dinner.

Dog Sledding SELF-DRIVE or Dog Sledding RIDE  

Try your hand as a musher! Experienced guides will provide an introduction to dog sledding before you depart, so don't worry if you have never done it before! Set off into the wilderness. You will share the sled with another guest; one will drive, and the other will ride as the passenger. At the halfway point, you will switch.

Join us for a dog sled trip. Enjoy the great views of the mountains surrounding Tromsø towards the Balsfjord and Malangen peninsula. Everyone will have a sled driven by our professional mushers; the sled will be shared with one or two other guests.

In total, you will be on the sled for about 45-60 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. Afterward, you can meet and cuddle our 200 Alaskan huskies and their puppies during a guided tour of our dog yard. Learn all about dog sled racing, the Alaskan Husky breed, and animal welfare! Then a hearty lunch of Bidos  (a traditional Sami reindeer stew, vegetarian options available upon prior request), something hot to drink, and a piece of our signature chocolate cake await you in Gamme-hut. Served around an open fire, it will warm you right up after your trip. After a goodbye to the dogs, we make our way back to Tromsø.

Night Reindeer Sledding with Camp Dinner and Chance of Northern Lights

Travel out into the wilderness and walk among 300 reindeer (with the opportunity to feed them too) before enjoying a 15-20-minute sledding ride. Afterwards, enter a candlelit Gamme to enjoy a relaxed three-course meal followed by joiking (traditional Sami songs), Sami history and stories. On a clear night, you might be lucky enough to catch the majestic Northern lights.

Today, you are free to explore the town at your own pace and soak up the unique Arctic charm of the city. Consider visiting the Polaria museum and enjoying the spectacular views of Tromsø and its beautiful surroundings from above, during the day.

Fjellheisen Cable Car: All Tickets.
The Fjellheisen cable car brings you from Solliveien in Tromsdalen up to Storsteinen, 421 meters above sea level, in just four minutes. Catch a lift to fantastic views of the city and the beautiful Aurora Borealis – this is the best place to see the Northern Lights in Tromsø!

The cable car travels up and down the mountain every full and half hour. You can decide for yourself how long you want to be on the mountain within our opening hours.
