Bobby was fantastic in setting up our Norway family trip. My brothers family arrived a week earlier and Bobby set up for us to meet up in Southern Norway for a family reunion. All the car rentals, hotels and excursions were neatly set up in a convenient trip app!! All the vouchers and addresses. It was so easy!! He left no stone unturned in evaluating how much time to spend in each recommended town. To top it off, we did “ Norway in a Nutshell” which is an all day excursion from Oslo to beautiful Bergen. You see the gorgeous country and natural waterfalls and landscapes from trains, fjords and planes. What a great experience. 5 stars to Nordic Saga!!…

Good morning Bobbi.
I wanted to thank you for arranging our Norway vacation. We arrived back here to Ohio as scheduled on July 11th. My apologies for this late text to thank you. We had a remarkable time! If we ever get the opportunity to recommend you to friends/family we definitely will. This was our first time traveling abroad and we were very nervous. Your very detailed itinerary made it run smoothly. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

We had an amazing trip to Norway. We flew up to the Artic Circle and started on the Lofoten Islands, breathtaking beaches and hikes. Flew back to Oslo and did a long road trip out west and then as far north to Trondheim and returned to Oslo. Bobby was supportive and worked with me as I had specific routes and accommodations requested as I visited sites of family history. Also while in Norway, Bobby was quick to reply when needed.

Thanks for quick responses…. Best trip ever… for future clients, this is great place, welcoming and even a little red row boat for us!

I worked with Susie to book my specific tour requests. Her advice was very good and helpful regarding tour times, crowds and hotels. The bookings for bus, train and boat were through Norway in a Nutshell. There were some schedule issues with them. After taking the train from Bergen to Voss the bus schedule information was not accurate. The 1:00 bus to Gudvangen only let off riders- it was at the end of its day. There was another bus at 2:00 listed, however, that was a different company and the pre-paid tickets were not honored. Finally, we got a 3:00 bus which got us to Gudvangen for the boat to Flam. I'm not sure what happened with the scheduling, but Norway in a Nutshell needs to get it accurate.

Our Hotel Opera in Oslo was outstanding! We greatly enjoyed the Flamsbyrgga Hotel in Flam...very cool and had a great brewery attached. The Thon Hotel we stayed at in Bergen had a great location right on the city square. However, the room was very small and not what was represented as to what I had requested. No other rooms were available for changing so we stayed in the one assigned. The desk staff at this hotel were less than helpful as the oscilating fan in the room was broken, the luggage rack was also broken and there was no maintenance personnel available for 2 days. Not acceptable. The breakfast at this hotel was, however, fantastic. Overall, I was pleased with my experience with Nordic Saga and can highly recommend them.

Hi, We have just returned from the trip Oslo, and Norwegian Fjords Escape. I would like to thank you, Dora, for the efficient support arranging this tour. Everything went the way we expected. We spent a lot of time in Olso, which was our priority. All vouchers and prebooked entrances worked very well, and we had the worry-free time. The Norway in a Nutshell tour was just amazing! We are so glad we booked it. Thank you for your professional support and valuable advice.
Bets regards,

Hi Susie!

We all got back safe and sound from our Norway travels yesterday and I am pleased to report that my brothers were all impressed with your ability to set up such a seamless and complex set of travel arrangements! I of course have grown to expect it. It all went off without a hitch! Like I told them, you are a pro!

The Reykjavik airport continues to suck - overcrowded and always under construction and Iceland Air has continued to seek the bottom in frills but that’s what it takes to get there and we survived! At least the connection times were good, the flight staff pleasant and they didn’t lose our baggage.

Norway in a Nutshell was a fun addition which we all enjoyed. Hurtigruten was as before, just a little more bloodthirsty! I can now say I definitely prefer the southbound voyage to the northbound. That’s because you see more of the Artic and Lofotens during daylight. I suppose others might have different preferences.

We saw Northern Lights three nights in a row, experienced unseasonably good weather (glassy sea until approaching Nordcap, NO RAIN in Bergen, and no snow anywhere).

All in all, it was a great trip and we all appreciated your great arrangements!

Thanks, PeteRSr
