Food and culture walk of Bergen
In the afternoon, use all your senses to take in the city of Bergen. This tour takes you through Bergen's history and lets you try local food and learn about it. Learn about the history and traditions of food in Bergen from a local guide who speaks English. On our food tour, we focus on local goods and things that people have made themselves. The guide will take you around the old part of the city, and there you will make five stops to try different foods. We will go to Bryggen, which is on the list of world heritage sites maintained by UNESCO. A small restaurant run by locals in what used to be a public bath offers another taste. The food should be enough for lunch, and the last stop will be at the oldest cellar in Norway, where a special story will be told over a glass of beer.

Later, you can go on your own to one of Norway's most popular and well-known sights— the Fløibanen funicular in Bergen. It takes about 5–8 minutes to get to the top, which is 320 m above sea level. Mount Floyen has many hiking trails and is a great place to start a nice walk in the mountains around the city.

Early breakfast and check-out. Your main baggage will be safely transferred from Bergen to your hotel in Oslo by porter service, so you may concentrate on focusing your camera on some of the world's most breathtaking nature.

A Day in The Norwegian Fjords
Take a short walk or a short taxi ride from your hotel to Bergen Railway Station. Then, start on a scenic train journey to Voss. Next, continue by bus and travel through charming villages and scenic nature landscapes towards Gudvangen. From Gudvangen, cruise on the narrow Nærøyfjord and the magnificent Aurlandsfjord. Nærøyfjord is one of the narrowest fjords in Europe and is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List. After your fjord cruise, you arrive in the small village of Flåm, nestled in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord.

Upon arrival at Flåm, you will board the legendary Flåm Railway. The Flåm Railway offers spectacular panoramic views of some of the wildest and most magnificent nature in the Norwegian fjord landscape. The Flåm Railway will arrive in Myrdal, where you change trains to the Bergen Railway. Then, you continue the rail journey through scenic mountain terrain to Oslo. Upon arrival at Oslo Central Station, take a short stroll or taxi to your hotel.

A wonderfully planned experience. Thank you. We loved it. I would make only 2 tiny suggestions for your itinerary that you sent. Please add in Bergen when arriving at the airport, you meet Bergen Taxi outside by the taxi line, not in arrivals as stated, also in Bergen when meeting the food and culture tour at the fish market, you meet the guide outside at the entrance to visitor information, no at visitor information. This changes may remove a few very minor moments of wonder and anxiety.
Do you have other independent itineraries throughout the world? Please send me a link so I can review.
Many thanks
