Tour Itinerary

Arrive in Helsinki at your own convenience and make your way independently to your hotel. At 18:00 hrs, meet your tour escort in the hotel lobby for a brief welcome introduction, where you’ll also have the opportunity to meet your fellow travelers. Dinner is on your own this evening in the Finnish capital.

Breakfast at your hotel, followed by a morning city sightseeing tour of Helsinki (approx. 3 hours) with a local guide and private coach. Highlights include the Sibelius Monument and Park, Senate Square, and the Helsinki Cathedral (no entrances included).

The afternoon is free for shopping or discovering more of this vibrant Baltic capital at your own pace. Later, transfer by private coach to the pier for embarkation on the Tallink Silja Line ferry for your overnight cruise to Stockholm. We recommend packing an overnight bag for the cruise to avoid carrying suitcases to and from your cabin. Luggage handling between the coach and the luggage container on board is included.

Enjoy your buffet breakfast on board while sailing slowly through the Stockholm archipelago past numerous small islands. Arrival in Stockholm at 10:00 hrs in the morning and disembark. Luggage handling between the luggage container and the coach is included.

Transfer by private coach to your hotel.

A day free in Stockholm for exploring this beautiful city, often called the Venice of the North because of its many canals and waterways. We can recommend a guided boat tour on the canals or visiting some of the many interesting museums Stockholm has to offer.

Breakfast at your hotel, followed by a 3-hour city sightseeing tour of Stockholm with a local guide and private coach. Highlights include the medieval Old Town (Gamla Stan), the Royal Palace, the Parliament buildings, the island of Djurgården, and the City Hall—famed for its golden and blue halls (no entrances included).

The afternoon is free to enjoy Stockholm at your own pace. We recommend a visit to the impressive Vasa Museum or the popular ABBA Museum. Dinner is on your own this evening.

Breakfast at your hotel, then transfer by private coach to Stockholm Central Station. Board the SJ train for your journey to Oslo, the capital of Norway. The trip takes approximately 6 hours. Please note that luggage handling is not available at train stations.

Upon arrival, enjoy a short walk from the railway station to your centrally located hotel. Dinner is on your own this evening in the Norwegian capital.

After breakfast, set out on a 3-hour city sightseeing tour of Oslo by private coach with a local guide. Enjoy panoramic views of the Opera House, Karl Johans gate – the city’s main street – Old Town Christiania, Akershus Castle and Fortress, and the Royal Palace. Take a scenic drive through some of Oslo’s most charming neighborhoods before arriving at Vigeland Park, home to over 200 remarkable sculptures (entrance free of charge). The tour also includes entrance to the Fram Museum, which vividly tells the story of Norway’s polar exploration.

In the afternoon, relax on a pleasant drive along the shores of Lake Mjøsa to the charming town of Lillehammer.

After breakfast, continue your journey through the magnificent Gudbrands Valley to Lom, renowned for its 14th-century stave church. From here, the road winds through a series of breathtaking hairpin bends up to the Geiranger Skywalk – Mt. Dalsnibba, where (weather permitting) you can enjoy a panoramic view of one of the most spectacular fjord landscapes in the world. Descend into the village of Geiranger, beautifully nestled at the head of the famous Geirangerfjord.

Enjoy breakfast, followed by an exclusive Fjord sightseeing cruise on the Geirangerfjord (duration 60 min.) The Geirangerfjord is one of the most famous fjords in the world and has been a part of the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2005. Surrounded by deep blue water and green valleys, you will also see magnificent waterfalls such as the "Seven Sisters" and the "Bridal Veil".

The tour continues by coach through the beautiful scenery of snowcapped mountains and lakes to Skei.

Breakfast at your hotel and scenic drive to Balestrand, a charming village situated by the fabulous Sognefjord. You’ll discover more of the majestic Sognefjord on a fjord cruise from Balestrand to Flåm. Surrounded by steep valley sides and snow-covered peaks, thundering waterfalls and picturesque villages, this area has been judged one of the most beautiful fjord landscapes in the world and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In Flåm board the train to Myrdal, for an excursion on the spectacular Flåm Railway. Arrival in Voss and transfer to Stalheim.

Enjoy breakfast before departing for Bergen. Your 2-hour guided Bergen city tour includes the bustling Fish and Flower Market, the historic Bryggen Harbour with its colorful gabled houses, and the old Hanseatic Quarter. Ride the Bergen Funicular to the summit of Mount Fløien for panoramic views over the city, fjords, and surrounding mountains. Return to Stalheim in the afternoon.

Following breakfast, travel by coach across the Hardangerfjord Bridge and over the rugged Hardanger mountain plateau. Stop to admire Vøringsfossen, Norway’s highest and most famous waterfall, with a dramatic 180-meter vertical drop. Continue through the beautiful Hallingdal Valley to Oslo.
