We loved the Norwegian coast cruise very much – thank you! Our cabin was small, but there was enough storeroom. We could have booked a larger cabin but decided to go for this one as the cabin was needed for sleeping only. We had our own toilet and shower, and they changed the towels whenever we needed. The choices for breakfast and lunch were excellent – particularly if you like seafood. We only expected that the hot food had been a bit hotter – sometimes it was just warm. However, the views of the coastline were stunning and nothing could compete with the emotions we had gazing at all this beauty. All in all, we were very happy to have taken this trip and hope we will book something similar with you next year.

What an amazing journey! Cruising in a small ship is so different from a big ship experience. With a small Hurtigruten ship you can you get really close to the Norwegian coast and can visit so many ports. Some of the ports were very small and we stayed there just about 15 min but other ports were larger and we could explore the location on foot or take an excursion. The ship captain surprised us how skillfully he was navigating the islands and fjords of the coast. We came very close to the cliffs, almost reaching out to touch some of them. Could not fault the food and staff on board . The ship was very nice, good lounge-bar in front of the ship on deck 7, and there was a lovely coffee bar.

The Northern Lights Northbound – unbelievable scenery! For years we have planned to see the Northern Lights. Finally, we made it! We did it on the classic Hurtigruten voyage from Bergen to Bergen. We took tons of photos of this wonder and land based excursions. We were extremely lucky to have clear nights and got some fantastic images. It was freezingly cold, though. The end of and we were lucky to see much of this natural beauty. The wonderful Norwegian coastline kept us busy all day long admiring and taking photos. Outside the weather was very cold but the cabin was warm and cozy with three magnificent meals per day. Fantastic trip to be recommended to everybody once in a lifetime. I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip to Iceland last week. Oli was a very knowledgeable and personable guide, and Pieter was an excellent driver. Our accommodations were comfortable and clean, and the food was great. Even the weather cooperated! Iceland is a beautiful country with very friendly people. We hope to return some day to see the northern areas.

I wanted to let you know that our trip to Iceland was wonderful!
The Air Travel, Volcanoes & Glaciers Itinerary, Tours, Escorts/Guide, & Lodging/Accommodations were EXCEPTIONAL on every level! :)
Icelandair flights were comfortable (Comfort is a good choice especially on the longer return flight) & flight attendants were pleasant. Keflavik airport is undergoing renovations that contributed to lengthy wait times in hallways prior to boarding but overall they moved the people efficiently (the Icelandair Lounge in Kev was outstanding.
