Not a single thing went wrong and we felt very special to be traveling. Both of the local guides made sure we were taken care of all along the way, including any problems or questions about Covid tests, etc. Very personal service and everything was great!

We had a wonderful time in Iceland. Turned out we were in the hands of the oldest touring company in Iceland, Gundar Johansson. We traveled in an 8 person van but there were only 4 of us, our PERFECT guide was Antoine, Charles, a retired British barrister, and us. A woman was at the Hilton, supposed to go with us, but she disappeared. Really. She didn't go on the tour! We wasted time our first day while the hotel tried and tried to find her. So the four of us set off on six magical days of adventure.
Charles is an eccentric, never married man with a lot of money and a PASSION for travel. He's been to 126 countries, most of them twice.
Antoine changed our itinerary for one night and we saw a beautiful place on the east coast of the island.
Bill and I hope to go back and see the western fjords someday.

The entire tour went very smoothly. All instructions and directions on where to get picked up for the tours were clear and easy to follow. The hotels that were booked were all excellent and comfortable. Our guide Johann was very nice and kept the entire group on schedule. Bobby was great with all the bookings and returned my emails with excellent timing. Overall it was a great experience and I would book it through Nordic Saga again in the future.
