Susie, We traveled to Iceland in February and joined one of your Northern Lights tours. . We went for my mom's birthday and it was an incredible experience. This is a place she has always wanted to go so I'm glad I was able to surprise her with this tour. We spent a week exploring the beautiful scenery walking along black sand beaches, glaciers, and through fishing villages. These were all very unique experiences and we saw cute seals and a lot of birds which my mom really enjoyed. Soaking in the natural baths was wonderful and learning about the folklore and the history of the Vikings was really interesting. Dear Dora, Thank you for helping us plan such a great trip to Iceland in November. We're home now and just thinking about our travels and wanted to write to you to tell you how much we appreciated our time there and all of your hard work to make this trip everything that it was. We loved exploring all of the museums, souvenir shops, restaurants, and of course the nature and scenery such as all of the waterfalls, geysers, and of course, the natural baths and Northern Lights. It was really cool being able to see them since that's something I'm not sure I could have done without your guidance. We loved trying on snowshoes and taking that trip and hearing the stories of the trolls. Enjoying local soup outside was a lot of fun and we decided to do the cross country skiing tour which was really, really awesome. The food in Iceland was great, no complaints there. Hi Susie! We all got back safe and sound from our Norway travels yesterday and I am pleased to report that my brothers were all impressed with your ability to set up such a seamless and complex set of travel arrangements! I of course have grown to expect it. It all went off without a hitch! Like I told them, you are a pro! The Reykjavik airport continues to suck - overcrowded and always under construction and Iceland Air has continued to seek the bottom in frills but that’s what it takes to get there and we survived! At least the connection times were good, the flight staff pleasant and they didn’t lose our baggage. Norway in a Nutshell was a fun addition which we all enjoyed. Hurtigruten was as before, just a little more bloodthirsty! I can now say I definitely prefer the southbound voyage to the northbound. That’s because you see more of the Artic and Lofotens during daylight. I suppose others might have different preferences. We saw Northern Lights three nights in a row, experienced unseasonably good weather (glassy sea until approaching Nordcap, NO RAIN in Bergen, and no snow anywhere). All in all, it was a great trip and we all appreciated your great arrangements! Thanks,
