Testimonials

Scandinavian Exploration Tour

Philip Tham 07 July 2018
My family had a wonderful experience in Norway and Stockholm. Thanks for the professional service by Yves, the tour director, and safe driving of Danny. We made some international friends as well. The journey has been smooth so far. Our hotel stay was excellent. However, on Day 6 afternoon, we missed our ferry cruise of the scenic Geirangar Fjord. A Police road block and enforcement check on the tour bus and driver lasted more than one and half hour while the bus enroute to Hellesylt. This casued an undue delay and the bus missed the ferry schedule. We unfortunately missed the scenic Geirangar Fjord altogether. We finally arrived at Geirangar by bus. Every member of our tour group was dissapointed as there were no proper explanation to the incident and what caused the delay, by Robinson Tour. Sadly there were no alternate arrangment for us to visit the beautiful Fjord again. Despite these glitches, we will still share our stories and recommend this tour to our friends for the overall experience and fine memory we had during the tour. Thank You.

Iceland Classic Circle Tour

Steve and Chris Pontius 01 July 2018
Outdoor bus tour circling Iceland with easy walking 40 minutes/d. High and Low temperature in June 53/47. Rain in the southeast around Reykjavik but otherwise pleasant weather.
Lots of waterfalls, volcanic craters and lakes, glaciers with icebergs floating in glacier lake, hot springs. geysers, whales. Accammodations very good with excellent breakfasts . Guide was excellent. Some tour members were smokers and no designated smoking areas. Very expensive country with gas station hamburgers at $20 U.S. Terrific tour. Very glad we chose this one.

Iceland Summer Extravaganza

Flying to the north was the best!! And having two three night stays was GREAT! I wouldn't change a thing except perhaps stay two nights in Rey as a day without alot of driving would be good. Would give people a chance to walk around, shop, maybe find something else to see there. We all like Kari VERY much. If he is going to do bus tours (which he doesn't like) he needs to be a bit more of a guide instead of a cowboy...ie checking people in, finding out times for breakfast, etc. I told him all of that in a nice way. When he does the jeep tours he just dumps the people at the hotel, but he just hasn't had the experience with larger groups which need help. He was GREAT with one of our people who has issues walking. He had her by his side always. He is fun, witty, knowledgeable. I would use him again anytime. Our driver, Helga, was the best. The foo was over the top. The hotel in Vik was the poorest of the three. Some of the rooms were very noisy due to wind. One night I did not sleep all night due to noise. The lunch the last day was a wonderful surprise and a nice way to end instead of just driving to airport. I would include that in any tour. Kari took us to his home which was a nice touch. I was very pleased with everything. Too bad lights didn't cooperate. Only negative I would say is when I asked if we could drive someplace to look at lights...Vik was rainy..about 20 miles away it was clear..I was told it would have to be cleared with GJ. I would say that should be an automatic that driver can go where lights might be. Just something to think about in future. Thanks for everything!!!
