Experience this unique journey to lapland and be amazed by a blend of first-class travel and the most fascinating and invigorating winter activities in the region. You will stay in oulu with its dazzling with landscape as well as in rovaniemi. You will be treated to a special christmas dinner with sauna, and weather permitting, you will see the magnificent northern lights. Santa claus will be expecting you at santa claus village. You will also experience a visit at the sami reindeer farm and sleigh ride, as well as a husky safari. The highlight of this winter adventure is the ‘sampo’ icebreaker safari, where you have a chance to take a swim in the fresh arctic waters of kemi.

Experience a 3-hour sightseeing tour of the capital of Finland, also known as “The Daughter of the Baltic Sea”. The tour includes the Senate Square, the University and the Lutheran Cathedral. You will also see the colourful Market Square, Kaivopuisto Park, diplomatic residences, the imposing statue of Marshall Mannerheim, the Parliament Building, Finlandia Hall, the Orthodox Russian Church Uspenski and the Sibelius Monument. A visit is also made to Temppeliaukio Church – also called the “Rock Church” as it is carved into solid rock (the church reserves the right not to allow the entry of visitors in case of ceremonies). End of the tour at the hotel.
Overnight in Saariselka
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Early morning transfer to the pier of Helsinki. Board the two hours cruise to Tallin. Meet your local Tallin guide for a city tour where you will discover the secrets of Tallinn's fairytale-like Old Town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The walking part of the tour includes Toompea Hill, where you'll see the ancient Toompea Castle, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. the Cathedral of Saint Mary, also known as the Dome Church.
Continue to the lower part of the city, walking among beautiful historic buildings until we reach the Town Hall Square. Tallinn's Gothic-style Town Hall, built in the 15th century, is the oldest surviving town hall in the Baltic countries. Just a few steps away, you'll find the famous Town Hall Pharmacy, which has been operating in the same premises since the early 15th century. Stroll through the market squares adorned with twinkling lights and colorful decorations, where wooden stalls showcase an array of traditional handicrafts, locally made goods, and artisanal products. From intricately crafted ornaments to cozy woolens and intricate lacework, there's something for every taste and preference.
After the tour you will enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant, before the transfer back to the pier and return ferry to Helsinki. On board the ferry you will have the opportunity to enjoy a light dinner of your preference.

Put on your snowshoes and feel the crunch of snow under your feet. Capture the true feeling of winter in the northern woods as you explore the nearby white wilderness of forest and hills and Urho Kekkonen National Park, surrounding Saariselkä. The afternoon is at leisure and we recommend trying a Finnish sauna, available at the hotel.
Later in the evening indulge in a truly immersive Finnish experience at Maikkula Mansion, where an evening of culinary delights and relaxation awaits amidst the tranquil countryside setting. SAMI REINDEER FARM VISIT & SLEIGH RIDE INCLUDED

Meet the traditional Sami farmers who will tell you about the reindeer, and its importance to the Sami culture. Sitting in a two-person sleigh, pulled by your reindeer, you will experience a short ride in this traditional and peaceful way of moving through the white landscape where the only sound you will hear is the melody of reindeer bells. A typical local three course lunch is included at the farm.
The day continues with a visit to the world-famous Santa Claus Village, built right on the Arctic Circle and home to Santa Claus. Stop by his busy post office where you can ask Santa to send a letter to your loved ones just before Christmas. Take a step into the magical world of Santa’s home and meet Santa himself. No words can describe the emotions of this fairy-tale-like moment. It is something you will always remember. An absolute must for any visit to Lapland. From Santa Claus Village it is a short ride to the hotel for check in. The rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

HUSKY FARM & SAFARI, INCLUDED

The barking of enthusiastic dogs will welcome you to the most genuine Husky farm in Rovaniemi. The head musher will talk about the life and training of these Arctic animals and you will also have the chance to take some great photos. After brief instructions you embark, riding in pairs, on a run through the forest behind your pack of huskies (3 km).
In the afternoon, brace yourself for an exhilarating adventure as you have the chance to embark on a thrilling snowmobile safari, exploring the pristine snowy landscapes of Rovaniemi.
AURORA BOREALIS SAFARI BY SNOWMOBILES (optional)

Drive through the wilderness and discover the phenomena of the northern sky at our Northern Lights base. Experience the Arctic night by driving through the snow-covered forest and on the frozen river. With a little luck, you will travel under a bright sky lit by the moon and the stars. Perhaps the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights – will appear to show you the way. Time for a swim as we head to the town of Kemi for a full day of activities. First a visit to the Snow Castle* with its special snow slide. Enjoy the snow sculptures and complex. Later you will experience one of the highlights of your winter adventure as we board the Sampo Icebreaker and spend 3 hours on this unforgettable vessel breaking though the ice of the northern Gulf of Bothnia. Prior to the cruise you will enjoy lunch onshore in the Seaview Restaurant.

SAMPO ICE BREAKER & ICE SWIMMING, INCLUDED
DURATION: 14:00-17:00 HOURS

This extraordinary experience beings with a lunch served onshore in the Seaview Restaurant and includes a guided tour of the ship with its massive engine room, communications room and bridge and ice swimming. In the middle of the largest ice field in Europe, you have the opportunity to jump in the sea and float! You will of course be fitted with a warm survival suit and those of you who dare will receive a certificate by the ship authorities to attest your courage. An unforgettable experience. After the excursion head to your Hotel in Luleå.

This morning, experience the timeless allure of Gammelstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in the heart of Luleå. Here, amidst the picturesque streets and quaint wooden cottages, you are invited to step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Sweden's cultural heritage.
After the sightseeing, transfer to the Airport and get ready for your departure flight.
