You'll also visit the Domkirke Cathedral and marvel at the modern New National Opera House. The tour wraps up with a stroll through the stunning Vigeland Sculpture Park.

Early in the morning, walk to Oslo Central Station and board the train to Bergen. Your main luggage will be transferred to Bergen so you can travel lightly with an overnight backpack. Change trains in Myrdal and enjoy the famous Flam Railway ride through charming villages in the fjords. Get off in Flam and take the rest of the day slowly. Dinner will be served in a hotel restaurant.

Continue your journey through Norwegian fjords from Flåm to Bergen. Start your day sailing through Aurlandsfjord into the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in Europe. This most beautiful arm of Sognefjord is surrounded by mighty waterfalls and small farms clinging to the steep mountainsides. Disembark in Gudvangen and continue by bus through Nærøydalen. In Voss, change to train on the Bergen Railway for the final stretch of your journey. Upon arrival in Bergen, walk to your hotel.

Your cruise ends in Trondheim in the morning. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and explore the sights of this historic city, which was the capital of Norway during Viking times. The prominent landmark is Nidaros Cathedral, one of Scandinavia’s most significant buildings from the Middle Ages. Other places of interest are the Old Town Bridge (“Gamle Bybro”), Bakklandet, an idyllic historic neighborhood, the Ringve Music Museum, and Munkholmen Island.

Say goodbye to Norway’s south and fly into the Arctic Circle. The flight from Trondheim to Tromso takes around two hours. Upon arrival in Tromso, we will transfer you to the hotel. In the evening, join a small group heading out of town to look for the Northern Lights.

In the morning, we will take a two-hour guided city walk and learn about its history and contemporary life. Adventure awaits you in the evening. We will hunt for the Northern Lights at sea tonight while enjoying dinner on board. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

Today, you are free to explore the town at your own pace and soak up the unique Arctic charm of the city. If you’d like, you can also book an optional morning activity before catching your flight to Oslo in the afternoon.

The flight from Tromsø to Oslo takes about two hours. Once you arrive, depending on the timing of your international flight the next day, you may spend the night at a hotel conveniently located near the airport.
