We all got back safe and sound from our Norway travels yesterday and I am pleased to report that my brothers were all impressed with your ability to set up such a seamless and complex set of travel arrangements! I of course have grown to expect it. It all went off without a hitch! Like I told them, you are a pro!

The Reykjavik airport continues to suck - overcrowded and always under construction and Iceland Air has continued to seek the bottom in frills but that’s what it takes to get there and we survived! At least the connection times were good, the flight staff pleasant and they didn’t lose our baggage.

Norway in a Nutshell was a fun addition which we all enjoyed. Hurtigruten was as before, just a little more bloodthirsty! I can now say I definitely prefer the southbound voyage to the northbound. That’s because you see more of the Artic and Lofotens during daylight. I suppose others might have different preferences.

We saw Northern Lights three nights in a row, experienced unseasonably good weather (glassy sea until approaching Nordcap, NO RAIN in Bergen, and no snow anywhere).

All in all, it was a great trip and we all appreciated your great arrangements!

Dear Bobby, My wife and I send our thanks. You really helped us plan such a wonderful Iceland Northern Lights tour and we can't thank you enough for your patience with us. I know we changed our plans more than a couple of times but this was our first time Iceland and first time Northern Lights :-), so obviously we had our doubts and questions.. I don't really have any complaints as I feel everything went as planned and the time allotted for each destination was favorable. The weather was cold and sometimes very rainy, but we expected that and dressed accordingly. It did not damper our moods in the slightest. We loved the country and all it threw our way. The hotels were cozy, and I really liked our guides. Please tell them thanks for us. If we ever plan to head out on another Iceland tour, you will be receiving a call, that's for sure.

Hi Dora, Thanks for helping me plan my Iceland tour. I think I picked one of the best ones! Learning about Erik the Red and the history of the Vikings was really special. That's all part of my ancestry so I really enjoyed that. I was able to take some unique photos that I don't think I would have been able to capture on any other tour. It was great bonding with the locals! The Icelandic language is so tough, and hearing the people of Iceland speak it was awesome! I won't be forgetting that experience any time soon. The hotels were favorable and the food was really fresh. I don't have any complaints. It was a great week and I was in sensory overload the whole time, in the best way possible! If I ever decide to travel to Iceland to check out the western part of the country, I'll get back in contact with you.
