Then, when the skies darken, you'll search for the spectacular northern lights. Finally, spend the night stargazing in a cozy glass igloo.

Day 1  : Arrival in Rovaniemi

Northern Lights Hunting by Van

Upon arrival to Rovaniemi Airport, meet yur driver and transfer to the hotel. Rovaniemi is the capital of Finnish Lapland, a city close to the Arctic Circle, offering many exciting winter activities for your family.

Northern Lights Hunting by Van
Join the Aurora Borealis hunt in the evening, lasting about 3 hours. From your hotel in Rovaniemi, we will take you to a secluded countryside location where you'll sit by an open fire and wait for the Northern Lights. Help yourself to sausages cooked on the open fire and recuperate with some hot tea. In a cozy atmosphere by an open fire, you will learn more about the Northern Lights, why they appear, and ancient Aurora legends. The most popular myth in Finland involves the story of a fast fox that ran so fast that its tail sent sparks into the sky, creating the Northern Lights. Aurora sightings are not guaranteed; even when solar activity is suitable and the timing is perfect, we still need to be lucky to see the lights.

Day 2  : Rovaniemi - Santa Claus Village

Santa Village & Arctic Animals Adventure - all day family activities

Many exciting options await you in the village. You can send greetings to your friends from the Elves' Post Office with the official Arctic Circle stamp on the envelope. The office is an actual branch of Finland's Postal Service, so your friends will receive a letter from the Arctic Circle. You will then participate in the Arctic Circle Crossing ceremony and receive a certificate. This locale is considered magical, with good energy and vibes, and those who visit it will have a great year next year. You will then visit Santa Claus in his office. Share with him your Christmas wishes, and have your camera ready to take a selfie with Santa. There will be enough time to explore the town and have a cup of coffee before we go on our next activity, a reindeer sleigh ride.

Get ready for a nice 500-meter ride with a professional reindeer musher. After a 300-meter walk, the safari continues in Husky Park. Here you will meet friendly huskies playing in the snow. Then, after a safety briefing, we will embark on our two-kilometer sleigh ride. Huskies love sleighs, and they love to run, so they will be happy to take you on a snowy ride through icy Lappish landscapes.

In the evening, you can relax with a drink at the hotel bar, unwind in the sauna, or swim in the pool.
