Iceland is an absolutely stunning country, and the warmth and hospitality of its people made our trip even more enjoyable. For someone who enjoys staying active on vacation, this tour was perfect, with highlights like the exhilarating glacier hike, breathtaking waterfall trails, and fascinating geysers. The glacier lagoon boat ride was particularly thrilling—a true must-do experience!
That said, there were a few areas for improvement. The South Coast tour revisited Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, which we had already explored on other tours. I would have preferred to see new attractions or reach the glacier sooner. Additionally, the use of a minibus instead of a motor coach made for two long and somewhat uncomfortable days of travel.
The accommodations at Radisson Blu and CenterHotel Arnarhvoll were excellent. The staff at both hotels were incredibly helpful and polite, going above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. However, I did face a challenge with the transportation voucher for the Blue Lagoon and airport. The "Bus Stop" pick-up instructions were not sufficiently clear, and I misunderstood it as a hotel pick-up, resulting in an unexpected expense. It might help to make the pick-up instructions on the voucher more prominent.
While not directly related to your company, my friend's horseback riding experience was impacted by being given a "new" horse that struggled to integrate with the others, leading to a fall and injury. I would recommend the horseback riding team avoid using inexperienced horses with guests.
Overall, the tour offered an impressive blend of adventure, natural beauty, and excellent service, with a few areas for refinement that could elevate the experience even further.

Susie was amazing in helping me set up a two week trip to Greenland and Iceland. She really listened to exactly what I wanted and I had the vacation of a lifetime even though I'd not only never traveled out of the United States before but in fact had never traveled period. Highly recommended

Thank you, Dora, for recommending this tour. It was just fantastic! It was exactly what we wanted and actually got more.
Hotel accommodations were very well chosen. The bus which was taking us to different sites was very comfortable and the guide was just perfect. He told us a lot of interesting stories and showed fantastic places. The other people in the group were very friendly which made this trip even more exciting.
Would love to return to Iceland and do the same tour again. To be honest, we were surprised at how expensive everything was but we still loved it all. The trip was worth the money we paid.

    Dear Susie,
We're home from our Iceland and Greenland trip and I wanted to extend my gratitude and thank you for helping us plan such a wonderful and much needed vacation. Iceland was so much fun and I loved trying the new food and the famous Icelandic hotdog of course. Bill Clinton said it was the best and I think he was right! I can't say enough good things about how much I really loved the scenery. The icebergs were gorgeous, the black sand beaches really really unique - I've never seen anything like that before and the hot springs were phenomenal. The water did smell like sulfur which I read about before we arrived and it's kind of cool how Iceland uses all of its natural resources. This was such a special trip for us and it fell close to our anniversary so we appreciated all of your help putting the final touches on it all making it that much better for us. Thank you, thank you, sending you well wishes for the upcoming year.
