Balmoral

Balmoral, named after the Scottish home of the Royal Family, is a classically styled ship with our signature welcoming and friendly atmosphere.  Holding a maximum of 1350 guests, it’s easy to get around without having to walk for miles.

There are a range of dining options available, with mouth-watering menus to suit all tastes; and bars for enjoying a pre-dinner drink in, afternoon tea or a refreshing cocktail. The Marquee Bar has its very own Gin Menu, where guests can savour a variety of premium gins. The Observatory Lounge offers spectacular panoramic views  from the bow of the ship, and also has a glass dance floor, designed for late night entertainment.

The broad spiral staircase is at the heart of the ship, one of Balmoral’s key features, as is the stunning walkway towards the Ballindalloch Restaurant, filled with photographs of sentimental value from Fred’s private collection.

There’s a comfy pub with occasional live music or comedy, cabaret and shows in the Neptune Lounge, and the serene Atlantis Spa – perfect for that holiday indulgence. Balmoral also offers two swimming pools, and a selection of Jacuzzis to relax in, giving the opportunity to get to know fellow guests.

Walk a mile around the circumference of Balmoral, thanks to the teak promenade deck, enjoying the stunning views. Step aboard and feel at home right away.

Balmoral Facilities

We want to ensure that your cruise holiday runs as smooth as possible so you can truly relax and leave the ship stress free. Read below on how we can make your stay more comfortable.

Launderette
One of the treats of being on board your cruise ship is to leave behind teh routine chores. And of course, there is a comprehensive on board laundry service which your cabin staff will be pleased to arrange for you.

However, we do appreciate that occasionally there may be items you wish to deal with yourself, and the self-service launderette is fully equipped with washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing facilities. A particularly useful facility for those guests enjoying a longer cruise holiday.

Medical Centre
Rest assured that on each of our cruise ships, we have a doctor and/or nurse on call. Our Medical Centre offers primary care, whenever you might need it.
We hope you won’t be in need of health care during your cruise holiday, but our medical staffs are there for you if you do.
