This summer we took The Great Swedish Cruise on M/S Diana from Gothenburg to Stockholm. In the beginning, we were not sure if this tour was exciting enough but the experienced agents in Nordic Saga assured us that this was exciting and relaxing at the same time. And it really was! Thank you Nordic Saga ! This trip was once -in-a-lifetime experience into the beautiful Swedish countryside. Diana cruise boat is an old boat with tiny cabins and shared toilets, but very clean and pleasant. The food on the boat was exceptionally delicious. The captain and the cruise director and all the staff were very accommodating to the request of the passengers. We also enjoyed the company of the fellow travelers. The atmosphere all 6 days was fantastic. The scenery was breathtaking , not to forget the thrilling experience of going through canal's many locks. This was the most exciting journey in my life. Visit Vadstena, home to Saint Bridget and Motala, the capital of the Gota Canal. The convent church of Vreta and the remains of Sweden's first convent are an important part of the history here, and the Viking community of Birka is Sweden’s first town.
