This trip was setup through East-West Tours and they did a great job. All the documentation and transfers went very smoothly. We booked a deluxe cabin on the ferry (slightly larger cabin and "priority embarkation and disembarkation"). If you keep in mind that this is a ferry and not a cruise ship you will probably find the food, accommodation and level of service to be just fine. An odd thing – Twice for our priority disembarkation (both times with luggage) we gathered in a lounge on the 6th floor and had to carry our luggage down stairs to the 4th floor, this would be very hard for anyone with physical limitations. For St.Petersburg we requested a private guide and driver. Our guide, Olga Dashkevich, was fantastic.

Oh My! We had just the BEST tour of St. Petersburg. Our East-West representative (state-side), Dora, was just amazing. She was beyond patient and tireless in responding to my questions and requests and went above and beyond to accommodate the add-ons we requested, and got! Thank you Dora!! Our small group, consisted of my husband and me which for most tour agencies would have meant cancellation. East-West just the best. Thank you Aliona for an awesome tour of your beautiful city, St. Petersburg. Aliona, and our driver Sergei (sp?) were both so very informative. I feel like we got a true picture of the beauty of St. Petersburg.

The places we visited on this tour were beyond spectacular and photos can't show the true beauty. All the cities we visited were very interesting, but our favorites were Bergen and the fjords in Norway, Briksdal Glacier and Peterhof Palace in St Petersburg. All very different and with lots to see and learn about. The hotels were well selected, very comfortable with full breakfasts. The whole tour was extremely well organized and we would highly recommend this tour and Nordic Saga services. Rosemary  Burton

Our tour The best of the West was really one of the best tours I've ever been to. Every detail was well thought of. We saw fantastic places and experienced unbelievable adventures. My favorite part of the tour was visiting Westfjords. The nature there is unbelievable.
