I really enjoyed this Polish Dream Tour (May 31-June 16, 2019) for the inclusion of major cities (Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw & Krakow), as well as seeing the country from the north (Gdansk) to the south (Zakopane in the Tatra Mountains). The sites visited, and an absolutely first-class guide (Krzysztof Kisielnicki), gave a window into the complex history of Poland that I appreciated very much. I enjoyed the free time to explore on my own when our stay was 2-3 nights; our guide was a great source of suggestions. The bus tours in the cities were kept to a minimum – the walking tours with our guide and/or local guides were excellent and much preferred.

This tour was about the outstanding views and the experiences. I should say the food on the ship was outstanding , too, especially if you like fish. The crew was super – friendly, helpful, and very efficient indeed. The crew made our trip very special. The crossing of the Arctic Circle is fun! We picked some excursions which we enjoyed. We didn't go on a lot of excursions as we didn't want to miss some points of interest and ports. The boat is absolutely fine, with a large viewing deck at the back We had one night of quite rough weather but most of the trip is in sheltered water and it was not an issue. We went on Fabulous Scandinavia and Helsinki tour last spring with a group of friends. It was a very very exciting trip! We enjoyed the way it was organized, the choices of the hotels and sightseeing excursions. We were treated with a huge variety of scenery and history, and a plenty of opportunities for a fun time . Some of the places in the itinerary were beyond beautiful. – George Monty -

Many thanks to Dora who, after my initial fears about food and toilets as I recuperated from an abdominal operation, gave me a good picture of how these things are 'on the ground' so that I could optimistically pay for this trip of a lifetime. I can honestly say that my trip was fantastic. Our guide, Mimir, was superb: really knowledgeable, very responsible and professional, giving us wonderful little 'off the beaten track' experiences that surely many tourists would miss, a safe and excellent driver. The hotels were all fantastic – even the smallest fishing village guesthouse was clean and comfortable and quiet (with a memorable excellent freshly cooked dinner served in Bakki!).
