There were enough time given to visit each sights, tour guide was knowledgeable and explains well and she managed the timing very well. The hotel we stayed in was Solo Sokos Hotel Vasilievsky, room was spacious, breakfast and service was good. The only set back was that on the first day the tour guide who received us was different from the one that led us on day 2 and 3. – Catherine Lee -

St Petersburg tour was great

All the pre-trip arrangements were smooth, and the actual tour itself went very smoothly, with all guides and drivers being on time and knowledgeable. The walking expected on some days (e.g. covering Moscow Metro, Red Square, Kremlin and a museum in one day as well as walking back to hotel because it was a long way from any metro station) was exhausting. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, Maria was a great guide. She was so knowledgeable about the history, buildings and art she showed us and guided us round some very long queues at the Hermitage etc! It was also very interesting to chat with someone who has experienced the big changes in Russia first hand and hear about her family. We enjoyed the ferry trips though not the long queues to check in to the ship, the cabin was comfortable and there was plenty of choice at the food buffet. The hotel was really excellent, fabulous room, good breakfast and the pool complex is very impressive. We also appreciated the very central location of the hotel. – Fiona Yates -
