What an amazing journey! This small Hurtigruten ship takes you really close to the wonderful Norwegian coast , visiting many ports, navigating the small islands and fjords. The food on board was very good as well as the service. We enjoyed learning about the Northern Lights and enjoyed the fantastic scenerie of Aurora on one of the nights. The best part of the journey was traveling through fjords large and small as well as the number of sea days where you could simply relax watching the scenery unfold in front of you. We also thoroughly enjoyed the variety of excursions. Those who like lots of activities when traveling should look for some other tours. This one is relaxing and mostly watching.

This beauty usually lasted for about 2-3 hours and overtook us completely. I would fully recommend this tour. Great Holiday. Everything was well organised. The Northern Lights Northbound – unbelievable scenery! For years we have planned to see the Northern Lights. Finally, we made it! We did it on the classic Hurtigruten voyage from Bergen to Bergen. We took tons of photos of this wonder and land based excursions. We were extremely lucky to have clear nights and got some fantastic images. It was freezingly cold, though. The end of and we were lucky to see much of this natural beauty. The wonderful Norwegian coastline kept us busy all day long admiring and taking photos. Outside the weather was very cold but the cabin was warm and cozy with three magnificent meals per day. Fantastic trip to be recommended to everybody once in a lifetime. We enjoyed the Norway Northern Lights Cruise with Hurtigruten immensely! We did this cruise last month and enjoyed it beyond words. The boat was very convenient and it had many attractive original features. The crew were just superb and could not do more to please all the guests. Food in the restaurant was of a very high standard. Service very good. The entertainment on board was pleasant and funny. The fjords and other scenery we saw were magnificent. It was an excellent vacation and the places we visited will long live in our memories. The ship was really nice: very clean, bright and well maintained . The meals were tasty and the fellow travelers on the cruise were very nice and friendly. We met some people that we will further communicate with . All in all we had a wonderful time and saw parts of Iceland and Greenland that most people do not see on other tours or traveling on their own.
