We have just come back from our tour Baltic Metropoles. It was great! Thank you, East West Tours for arranging it for us. We traveled in a small group which was an excellent decision. Fellow travelers were lovely people, so we all had a good time together, especially as our guide Toma was a charming personality with a particular sense of humor and she was very passionate about her job. All places we visited were interesting. We loved the architecture of Riga exceptionally. The baroque churches in Vilnius were impressive. The countryside was also lovely – so quiet and natural. I worked with Susie to book my specific tour requests. Her advice was very good and helpful regarding tour times, crowds and hotels. The bookings for bus, train and boat were through Norway in a Nutshell. There were some schedule issues with them. After taking the train from Bergen to Voss the bus schedule information was not accurate. The 1:00 bus to Gudvangen only let off riders- it was at the end of its day. There was another bus at 2:00 listed, however, that was a different company and the pre-paid tickets were not honored. Finally, we got a 3:00 bus which got us to Gudvangen for the boat to Flam. I'm not sure what happened with the scheduling, but Norway in a Nutshell needs to get it accurate.

We had a very enjoyable tour of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Our guide kept us on a tight schedule without ever making us feel rushed, that we didn't have enough time, or we had too much time. We enjoyed each of the capital cities very much and the excursions helped showcase the countries. – Will Fett -

Hi Anna, I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our tour. We did not do the nature walk, the bike ride or the walk on the beach however we felt that we didn't miss out on anything as there was so much to see in each area. The architecture was fantastic in the old towns of Tallinn, Vilnius and Riga. Having the tour in English and German was no problem at all and our guide Janis Liekmanis spoke perfect English as well as German and several other languages. He was very organized and knowledgeable. Most of our daily departure times were at 9 AM. which was excellent. Every one of us on the tour was on time. Attached are a few of the photos I took. Thanks so much for booking our tour. Wonderful trip with a private car and driver. This arrangement suited our personalities and desires to see the landscape, photo opportunities, beaks when we wished, not having to worry about navigating and allowing both parties to sit back and enjoy the scenery. Our tour guide born and raised in Iceland knew his history, geology, geography and Viking history and myth so well we also learned many things along the way. Kari accommodated us in everyway and ensure we were well looked after. So not only his knowledge was great he was very personable. You could tell he paid very close attention to our wishes, desires and attributes about ourselves. Definitely very well skilled in dealing with people.

We had a fabulous time on the Scenic Sognefjord. All the accommodations were great, the transportation was always easy to navigate. We did have one hotel listed on our itinerary that did not match the hotel voucher in our packet and that did cause some confusion. We tacked on a wonderful stay in Copenhagen to the end of our tour.
