2 couples – did Sognefjord in a Nutshell – wish we had spent 2 nights in Balestrand – so beautiful and peaceful (certainly compared to Flam which had a large cruiseship in port during our brief time there) Logistics worked fine for all components. Hello Dora, I just want to let you know our tour of St.Petersburg went very smooth and all went well. The hotel was excellent as well as the food and service. Our Guide Victoria was very professional and certainly knew the city. She gave us a wealth of information and knowledge about the palaces, museums , cathedrals and all the paintings and artifacts and tried to please us all . I was expecting lots of tourists and a very busy 3 days and Victoria did a great job moving us through the crowds and our busy schedule and it is much appreciated. Hello Fellow Travellers, It now seems like a dream of our trip to Iceland. We have been home now a few days and have recovered from an unexpected Jet Lag. We left Maple Ridge via Iceland Air at 4:00 p.m. after enjoying Iceland Air's airport lounge with free food and beverages. We landed in Reykjavik at 6:00 a.m. (local time) which was too early to check into Hotel. The airport Kerflavik is about a 40 minute drive to the city centre of Reykjavik. We met our wonderful tour guide Kari at the airport who showed us around town and local sites until we could check into our hotel room. Now being up for about 40 hours we were wiped.

Our Majestic Fjords, Scandinavian Highlights and Helsinki tour was excellent! We saw beautiful sights, stayed in lovely accommodations, ate delicious food, and were led by a very well-informed and pleasant tour guide. We were extremely pleased with it and would recommend it to everyone who is considering touring this part of the world. – Sally Fairbank -

I went on the Splendor of the Fjords tour, and it was fantastic. Our tour guide, Anne, was wonderful, intertwining stories of the landscape with the history and politics of Norway for those of us not well versed on those matters. My tour group was a great blend of folks from different countries, and communication was easy between all of us – by the end of the tour, we felt more like a family than a bunch of strangers. Our driver, Sune, was amazing; in the US, I prefer to be the driver so I can have control, but Sune made us all feel safe with his skillful navigation of the country. The food was great (a lot of fish, but most of it was delicious) and the hotels (particularly the ones with fjord views) were fantastic.
