We chose the particular week of June 23, 2018 so we could spend 2 nights in Oslo as advertised by Nordic Saga Tours, however, that was the not offered by Borealis Destination Management so we overnighted in Fagernes. I did not think the Scandic hotels on this trip were as nice as the Radisson Blu hotels we stayed in on our 2016 Baltic trip with Nordic Saga Tours. That being said, the tour overall was wonderful – thank you! – Charlotte Yanno -

Many thanks to Dora who, after my initial fears about food and toilets as I recuperated from an abdominal operation, gave me a good picture of how these things are 'on the ground' so that I could optimistically pay for this trip of a lifetime. I can honestly say that my trip was fantastic. Our guide, Mimir, was superb: really knowledgeable, very responsible and professional, giving us wonderful little 'off the beaten track' experiences that surely many tourists would miss, a safe and excellent driver. I would however suggest that Mimir and other drivers get given better equipment for speaking into a mic while driving so that the driver/guide is at all times using hands-free mics to speak to the whole bus.

My family had a wonderful experience in Norway and Stockholm. Thanks for the professional service by Yves, the tour director, and safe driving of Danny. We made some international friends as well. The journey has been smooth so far. Our hotel stay was excellent. However, on Day 6 afternoon, we missed our ferry cruise of the scenic Geirangar Fjord. A Police road block and enforcement check on the tour bus and driver lasted more than one and half hour while the bus enroute to Hellesylt. This casued an undue delay and the bus missed the ferry schedule. We unfortunately missed the scenic Geirangar Fjord altogether. We finally arrived at Geirangar by bus.

Outdoor bus tour circling Iceland with easy walking 40 minutes/d. High and Low temperature in June 53/47. Rain in the southeast around Reykjavik but otherwise pleasant weather. Lots of waterfalls, volcanic craters and lakes, glaciers with icebergs floating in glacier lake, hot springs. geysers, whales. Accammodations very good with excellent breakfasts . Guide was excellent. Some tour members were smokers and no designated smoking areas. Very expensive country with gas station hamburgers at $20 U.S. Terrific tour. Very glad we chose this one. – Steve and Chris Pontius -
