Susie, We had a good time. Hotels were well chosen (though walking directions from/to train and boat would have helped). We especially enjoyed Kviknes in Balestrand. Oslo and Glacier tours were good, and we found a local celebration in Fjaerland. Connections worked well, though we were disappointed, that, as you discovered, there is no early boat from Balestrand to Bergen on Sundays (in June and July – high season!). It was raining while we had to wait for the evening boat. That was the only hitch. Nice job. – Tom – Thomas Spiro -

Dora and Anna Louise did an excellent job of planning our trip for my husband, myself, our daughter and my father. Dora added in a ballet concert and a trip to Kronstadt which were highlights of the trip. My favorite was Catherine's Palace and Peterhof, my father's the Hermitage, my husband's the concert, my daughter's the boat tour and the Impressionists at the Hermitage. We all loved the food, especially the restaurant Legran. Our tour guide and driver were knowledgeable and flexible. For example, I am a science teacher. Our tour guide, Ludmilla pointed out the location where the chemist, Mendeleev worked and we made an impromptu stop so that I could get pictures of his periodic table. I would definitely recommend seeing St.

I have to say I was very happy to be on tour in Norway with NST. Only a few quibbles. 1. I didn't join the tour at the beginning and I wanted to connect with the tour group before I joined them. There WAS an opportunity to do that the night before I joined the tour, but I was told there wasn't. 2. The tour guide: she doesn't handle stress well, and it shows in front of the guests. She is also hard of hearing, which gets to be a bit annoying at times when we ask questions on the bus. 3. Wakeup times for luggage were outrageously early. Maybe pack a little less into each day and allow people to sleep past 5:30 in the morning to accommodate luggage pickup. 4.
