Scandinavian and Russian Treasures

Hi Alex, Just returned from our trip yesterday. We had a wonderful time on our tour of Scandinavia and Russia. Russia is very interesting – especially Moscow. In fact, if I had any suggestions to improve your itinerary I would suggest an extra day in Moscow as it is quite different to other cities in Europe whereas St. Petersburg, being a younger city, felt more like a European city. Our guides in both cities were excellent, and Rita, our guide in Moscow, was an absolute delight – she was very informative and a very welcoming person and I would have loved to have spent more time with her, even though Rita spent more time with us than was actually on the itinerary. All in all a wonderful holiday.

Scandinavia Tour Review

Dear Susie, Just a quick note of THANKS for helping us with our recent trip to Scandinavia. We had a great time! Everything was well organized and went very smoothly. Although you were the first internet organized travel service I've used, I am a big believer now! You were fabulous from the start, and I really appreciated the personal attention and quick response – especially while we were en route. I would highly recommend you to anyone hoping to travel Scandinavia. Sincere thanks again. Jill Mullen – Jill Mullen -

Review of Scandinavia Tour

Dora, We arrived home Saturday night from 10 wonderful days on a great Scandinavia tour (rainy weather aside). All our transportation connections worked out perfectly and we couldn't have experienced an easier time moving from city to city. The car rental company provided us a brand new Passat wagon, and the drop off point was within walking distance of the Color Line terminal. Transferring from boat to train, train to train, ferry to ferry, etc. were all effortless! Thanks again for your help! Kevin Green (Now, if you could work on the rainy weather!) – Kevin Green -

Baltics

Susie, My husband and I took a tour of the Baltic countries with Nordic Saga Tours last month and I wanted to let you know my thoughts! I felt all of the programs and city tours were really well organized, and our guide did a wonderful job of introducing each city to us in unique ways. From Vilnius, to Riga, to Tallinn, I found something new I loved in each location. While similar in many ways, they're also so very different and the history in each city is really interesting. We loved the Hill of Crosses, and the ferry trip to Curonian Spit National Park. Eating Lithuanian food like gira and cepelinai was fun, and so delicious! Old Riga Castle and the many boulevards and streets in that city were so picturesque.

Amber Road Review

Hi Dora, We've arrived back home after a whirlwind of a trip to the Baltics! This part of the world is really beautiful and I'm so glad we decided to take the plunge. I've always loved Europe and have explored quite a bit on my own over the years, so seeing a new part of the continent with my wife was a special experience for both of us. We loved Lithuania which is where you mentioned you were from, and now I can see where you get your pleasant personality! :) The people in Vilnius were very good to us, and they welcomed tourists with open arms. While all of the hotels were nice, my personal favorite was the Radisson in Riga. We were told it was the only hotel in the Baltics that had a spa, so we took full advantage of that.

Tour of Baltics Review

Dear Alex, Our Baltic trip back in May was a lot of fun and I wanted to write a thank you note to your company and also to you, personally! You're a great travel agent and I can tell you really care about your clients. You were always speedy with your email responses and kept us in the know every step of the way, even from across the world! Thanks so much, it definitely helped ease our minds. As for the tour itself, we had an amazing time and it's hard to pin down just a few favorite places as I feel they were all special in their own way. Our group was on the smaller side, with only 12 of us, but I was thankful for that! We passed a few really large groups and I was glad we didn't have quite so many people.

Just wanted to tell you what a fantastic job you did for Peggy & I for our unescorted trip to Sweden & Norway. The hotels were all very, very comfortable and a perfect location for our traveling by train. The staff @ Freys hotel in Stockholm was exceptionally helpful and friendly- we highly recommend all the hotels you picked. The Sorgneford in a nutshell trip was spectacular AND, we even had good weather! We had a wonderful time, thank YOU! - BB -
