Splendor of the Baltics from Riga Review

Hi Dora, Our Baltic trip to Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia was great. Seeing things like Sigulda Castle, St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Grutas Park, Thomas Mann's house in Nida, St.Jacob’s Church, the Hill of Crosses, and many other locations were all fascinating to me. Aushra (our guide) seemed to take a lot of pride in knowing a lot about the history of each place which was refreshing. There really is so much of the world left to explore and I'm happy I can check these places off of my bucket list! It was a really nice two weeks away from my hectic life back home.

Trip Review

Bobby, Had a great time exploring on this Baltic tour. I've been to Riga before, but seeing the city up close and learning about its history definitely topped my last trip. Seeing three countries in two weeks was pretty cool and I like the way you arranged it. Taking ferries and boats to get from place to place was a unique experience for me. I think the food in Vilnius topped the food anywhere else we visited, but that's just my personal opinion. The Hill of Crosses was one of my favorite places we saw, too... Lots of history there. Really interesting. I guess I'd have to say Lithuania was my favorite country out of the three. There was something really comforting about it, and I could see myself moving there someday. We'll see.

Baltic Tour Review

Dear Susie, Thank you so much for helping me plan this trip to the Baltic countries! I wanted to do something special and different for my mom for her 60th birthday, and this trip was just up her alley. We had a wonderful time together, exploring a part of the world neither of us had ever been. I didn't know much about Latvia, Lithuania, or Estonia but always thought they looked like such gorgeous places, so I'm glad I went ahead and booked the tour for us. I must say our guide, Dahlia, was very knowledgeable and her English was very good. I know sometimes with tour guides, it's hard to understand them at times through their accents, but that wasn't the case with Dahlia.

Great tour of the Baltics

Alex, Sveiki! Just a quick thank you note from our family for your wonderful help in guiding this Baltic trip! As you know, Latvia is a place I've wanted to visit for most of my life since my grandparents were both born there. It was an incredible feeling being able to show the kids their roots. We also enjoyed Estonia and Lithuania of course! We didn't have any issues other than Emily having a bit of a stubborn stomach bug for a few days. She missed out on a few of the tours because she stayed back at the hotel. I don't think it was food related since we all ate the same things, but our guide, Eriks, was on top of it and bought some local medicine that seemed to help.

Tour of the Baltic States Review

Dear Dora, We've returned back home from our trip to the Baltic states. We had such a blast... It always seems that as soon as you're getting the hang of living in a foreign place and you feel that your body is used to the time difference, it's already time to pack up and come home! Those two weeks abroad were absolutely amazing and I don't think either of us were ready to leave. We really appreciated your guidance and with your personal connection to Lithuania, you gave us some really nice tips and suggestions that we definitely took to heart! I don't have anything bad to report about the tour itself, I think our time was spent wisely and it was well organized.

Baltic Tour

Hi Alex, I wanted to thank you for such a fun tour of the Baltics back in June. We went through Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania and explored all parts of each country pretty thuroughly. This 16 day tour was packed full of sightseeing. We loved the city tours in each place, though while were in Riga, it rained pretty heavily. We were still able to visit the Hill of Crosses though and my pictures actually turned out pretty cool with the rain. Our guide, Alma, was really sweet and very helpful throughout the entire tour. I think one of my favorite stops was at the Latvian National Opera House. It was SO beautiful. Thanks again for everything. If we ever do a Baltic tour in the future, I'll let you know.

Just wanted to tell you what a fantastic job you did for Peggy & I for our unescorted trip to Sweden & Norway. The hotels were all very, very comfortable and a perfect location for our traveling by train. The staff @ Freys hotel in Stockholm was exceptionally helpful and friendly- we highly recommend all the hotels you picked. The Sorgneford in a nutshell trip was spectacular AND, we even had good weather! We had a wonderful time, thank YOU! - BB -
