Winter should not be underestimated when it comes to visiting Norway. It is perhaps the most incredible place in the world to explore amazing Northern Lights and the Norwegian Coastline blanketed in snow .
The lights are at their peak performance between the autumn and spring equinox (September 21 – March 21), daily between 6pm to 1am. The weather is also very important and unfortunately, like with a beautiful summer rainbow, no guarantee can be given. Some days you will be treated to several fantastic displays during the evening. Other times, when the snow falls heavily or the moon is full, you will be out of luck.
