I took 8 Day Iceland Circumnavigation Cruise and it was absolutely spectacular! The scenery was beautiful... you can't go wrong with fjords black sand beaches, and waterfalls. Our trip to Iceland was highlighted by a cruise on Ocean Diamond which did a circumnavigation around Iceland. The cruise was great. The rooms on the boat were in good shape and we had plenty of room to hang up our clothing and drawers to put our thing in. We only missed the night shades on the windows as the sun was so bright. The staff did their best to keep the cabins very clean. The food was enjoyable as well as the scenery all day long. Off boat tours were good, only some bus rides were too long. The guides were very good and were able to answer all your questions. One more thing to complain about was that it would have been nicer to spend more time at the waterfalls .

Hi Dora, I would like to share my impressions on the 8 Day Iceland Circumnavigation Cruise which you recommended to us. My husband and I are extremely happy we did it! Having a tour on the ship OCEAN DIAMOND was an excellent choice. We not only enjoyed the fantastic scenery of fjords but also made stops at quite a few small city harbors and and back to Reykjavik. At most of the stops we were on either a bus tour to a waterfall or nature park. We enjoyed a number of magnificent waterfalls some of them falling at least a 500 meters or more, so relaxing ... We have just returned from the most amazing trip . Iceland is so beautiful but taking a cruise down to the fjords is more than the imagination can take us to. We would like to thank Dora from Nordic Saga Tours company for recommending this tour to us. It was the best possible way to enjoy Iceland's beauty and to learn many interesting facts about this remarkable and friendly country. The ship Ocean Diamond was small but comfortable enough, with not so big meals choice, but the food was of excellent quality. Our last trip to Iceland was a miracle. The nature here is fantastic, especially in autumn and winter when you have a chance to see Northern lights. Beyond these fantastic sights, you'll also are getting a lot of information from local guides with a genuine love for their country. Our guide Johannes was nothing but a gem, he was tailoring our agenda to weather and timing to make sure we got the most out of each agenda. Exploring Iceland on your own could be less expensive but you would definitely miss a lot of charm and information. We booked the tour through Nordic Saga Tours and were very happy we did this.
