5 Day Super Jeep Tour
I want to thank Nordic saga Tours for the excellent job they did in suggesting this trip. When we decided to go to Iceland, we thought about trying to plan it ourselves. Then we decided to get the advice from Nordic saga Tours experts and were not disappointed. While this tour cost a little more, we never would have been able to see some of the things we did either because our vehicle would have been unable to get there or we would have never known to look for it. We thoroughly enjoyed the week and would book through Nordic Saga Tours again when going to Iceland. Tommy and Carl – Tommy and Carl -
5-day Iceland Tour - September 15-19, 2017
Overall, the tour was enjoyable. The Kea Storm hotel was lovely and served all of our needs, especially the wonderful daily breakfast that was included. There were two downsides to our trip: 1. Gray Line Tours, the bus company that provided all roundtrip transport and tour guides for our daily journeys. Our tours included pickup and drop off at our hotel. What we were not told in advance was that Gray Line picked up passengers at hotels and then proceeded to drop us off at a central terminal, where we had to wait to board another bus that actually was the tour bus. The same thing took place on the trip back to the hotel. We wasted a lot of time in this double-transport effort.
Iceland Island Circle Tour - Sept 16 - 23; 7-day escorted bus tour - Tour guide Arna
A fantastic tour of the fire & ice island. Most visitors don't get to see the north & eastern side of the island. This tour hits all the highlights of the coastal towns. The bus intercom system was set at a perfect volume so you could hear our tour guide Arna clearly. She told us the interesting history behind each town or glacier or volcano eruption or stories of long ago. Each morning she would go over what we would see and also what to expect the next day. We traveled about 200 miles a day, sometimes through 1-lane tunnels. The hotels were all nice with the Siglo Hotel the most impressive.
Hello From Cleveland
Hi Bobby, Good Morning. How are you? We are finally back home after our long trip and are under jet lag. Anyhow, I did not want to wait and wanted to write to you about our wonderful trip you had arranged. We had a great time, even though we did not get to see the Northern light due to weather, followed by bright moon the only night it did not rain. May be we have to take another trip for that. Bobby, you did a great planning for us, and the next time when we plan to visit Scandinavian countries we would definitely like you to plan out our trip. Thank you again, and keep up the good work. With best wishes Achinta/Jayanti Bhattacharya Cleveland, Ohio – Achinta Bhattacharya -

Klauster: too many days; the redundancy across days 4-8 is disappointing (you can do on day 5 or 7, but once done..?) Borgarnes was great. Hotel and food accommodations in Hella are subpar. Concierge at Grand Hotel (Frances Harber?) is exceptional. Some supplemental info detailing all the support the Lenovo tablet can provide would be great, at least for those who haven’t grown up using powerful hand-held devices (what was the SIM card for?). The day 4 drive is pretty gruesome. The food and wine selections (including at Icelandic Hotels), except in Reykjavik, was mediocre, given the expense, although, again, Borgarnes was better than most of the others. The views are spectacular.
Overal tour was great - directions to lodging need more details and GPS coordinates could not be entered into auto GPS
